@MiguelDelaney @awesome_D It looks like you're getting enough flack from everyone else so I won't pile on, but surely from the last week you can understand why there's skepticism from everyone when it comes to some of the news coming out, given how it's panned out?

As a journalist, the job isn't just to report what you're told, it's to distinguish fact from fiction and come to an editorial conclusion. What you're describing in this thread is a "mouthpiece" - genuinely no disrespect intended

@awesome_D I didn't say you can't. I said it's not your job to (well, it might be!). But, with respect, there is a difference between social media accounts who just put things on social media and those who work in an organisation that have editors, and strict editorial standards.
