Either that, or he truly thinks an image drenched in Christian themes and symbols was actually a portrayal of medical treatment?

I simply note the following:
-trump posted his Jesus picture shortly after attacking the Pope
-doctors don’t wear white robes with red cloaks the way Jesus did
-doctors don’t have light coming out of both hands
-doctors don’t have a demon/angel bursting from light behind them

The statements made by President Trump on Truth Social regarding the Pope were entirely inappropriate and disrespectful. They don’t contribute at all to a constructive conversation. It is the Pope’s prerogative to articulate Catholic doctrine and the principles that govern the moral life. In regard to the concrete application of those principles, people of good will can and do disagree. I would warmly recommend that serious Catholics within the Trump administration–Secretary Rubio, Vice President Vance, Ambassador Brian Burch, and others–might meet with Vatican officials so that a real dialogue can take place. This is far preferable to the statements on social media.
I am very grateful for the many ways that the Trump administration has reached out to Catholics and other people of faith. It has been a high honor to serve on the Religious Liberty Commission. No President in my lifetime has shown a greater dedication to defending our first liberty. All that said, I think the President owes the Pope an apology.

No one is worshipping him in this. I do think he made himself look younger and better looking which is lol . But I don’t see what you are seeing. I have traveled all over the world to Catholic Churches and have seen Catholic artwork throughout, this does not suggest that he is being worshipped. It does suggest that there is healing going on. That he is supported from above and here on earth. The most interesting thing about this is…. Who did the man being healed look like????

This has gone down very badly with many of Trump’s biggest cheerleaders. He seems to be on a mission to piss off absolutely everyone, for reasons that are beyond my understanding given his current approval numbers.

In doing this – as unheard of as it may seem – the Hierarchy of the Catholic Church has slavishly adapted itself to the State in shameful enslavement to the subversive power that holds control over both. I support Trump, and I spend 8 hours a day defending him. I will not defend blasphemy.
Just correct it and move on. You don’t have to defend it. You don’t have to stop supporting him because you call it out.
