Today marks the final day of our Read Across America curriculum @NISDLearningTre 📚 Our students loved exploring new books & authors these past weeks. Today we’re reading Waiting for Wings by Lois Ehlert & creating butterflies using paint, clothespins, & other fun supplies🎨🦋

Garcia’s ACE Afterschool Art Club put their creativity on display with a beautiful showcase of student masterpieces!

Our students were designers and builders! They followed the design process to plan, build, and improve their candy houses. Creativity & problem-solving were displayed as they brought their sweet ideas to life!

Winter Wonderland is in full swing as our @NISDGlenoaks Owls designed & built 3D gingerbread houses then used them to spark an imaginative story about who lives inside them. Loved seeing the creativity & detail they put into each gingerbread house @NISDLearningTre 🎄🏠☃️❄️

Our @NISDElrod Learning Tree Eagles lit up the room with their robot creations! @modrobotics

Over 2,000 placemats & centerpieces created by our NISD Learning Tree students were donated to the @JimenezDinner helping bring warmth and joy to the nation’s largest Thanksgiving dinner!

This week @NISDLearningTre our Owls are wrapping up our Space Curriculum with a Space Jeopardy game between classes! 🚀 🪐 🌖 Our @NISDGlenoaks students are loving the challenge-learning, laughing, working together & even getting a little competitive! Owl Pride Flies High🦉❤️
