New Jersey State Museum

Today at the Museum we have Story Time & Craft at 11 am in the Discovery Den; we'll read "If You Spot a Shell." Afterwards make related craft. Head to the Planetarium at 4:15 pm, where spaceflight historian Frank O'Brien describes how Apollo astronauts navigated to the Moon.

Wednesday launches this year's Concerts on the Landing at the War Memorial in downtown Trenton! Come enjoy free live music from 12 - 2 pm. Pick up lunch from a downtown restaurant or grab something from the food truck. In the event of rain or extreme heat we'll move inside.

This week in our free Summer Craft Drop-in Program, try paper quill art, make a paper dinosaur, or create a collage. A different project will be offered each day (Tue., Wed., and Fri.) from 1 - 3 pm in the Museum's Imagination Studio.

Teens ages 13+ can drop by the Museum on the 2nd Thursday of each month and unleash their creativity with free art projects inspired by our collections. Drop by anytime from 3 - 4:15 pm for a different project each month. This week try printing with Gelli plates!
