The Museum welcomed troops for our annual Girl Scout day this past Saturday! Ambassador scout Shannon Somes presented her Gold Award project about NJ dinosaurs & fossils. Scouts also explored interactive stations, including one with animal skins courtesy of NJDEP Fish & Wildlife.

Sister Gertrude Morgan was a self-taught artist, musician, poet and preacher. Born in Alabama, in the 1930s she was moved by a vision from God to go spread the gospel. Eventually relocating to New Orleans in 1939, she co-founded a chapel and center for orphans. Her artwork 1/2
