2-0 feels harsh on the night. Liverpool were genuinely very good for much of the 2nd half but couldn't find their way through. PSG, though, thoroughly deserve to progress on the balance of the tie as a whole. A truly excellent team, with the clinical edge and swagger #LFC lack.

What’s this shape doing for us especially at home ? Cant counter. Compromises the press. Width and pace available through full backs only. What’s the out ball? Like we’re away looking for a set piece

Watching city there’s universe in which we get Guehi over line Aug, sign semenyo (or Diaz profile). Neither is perfect; both do a job, allow rotation, a boost to kick on. Would not have guaranteed silver or fixed say Macca’s form but we’d be more secure with more dynamic style

@Andrew_Heaton @LFCZA Young and less experienced at this levels so he’ll learn. Think he will be ok. For one thing think his long clearances are mostly ok and accurate and for us up the pitch in rare occasions.

Is it possible for a goalkeeper to make some really impressive saves but also burn your head out with his decision making at the same time?

@Jay82_LFC We’ve effectively been battered. Eye test and data says so. Could easily and probably should have been 6. We basically had no xG. Changing formation against CL holders away in a quarter final is inexcusable. Benching your only potential goal threat no matter how poor his form.

Rumours that if we got battered Slot would be sacked. Well we haven’t but we have been on the balance of play. May as well be 5-0 given the state of play. He played it safe for himself

Another game that on performance, competitiveness, cohesiveness, result and just the data should get a coach seriously questioned at this level. It’s not hard to see.
