To balance this point: if they thought he could help, you'd have seen him sooner. He had zero goals in 45 NHL games in 23-24 for the Ducks. But shouldn't look out of place in the NHL, and who knows from there.

Several 1st round picks in play, especially with clubs with more than one. Pitt will move 11/12 for the right young player. Mtl would move 16/17. Habs need a top 6 F. Philly wants to keep 6, but will trade 22/31. Nashville has 5/23/26 and is still evaluating all options.
