For Believers: A list of Misguided Beliefs About Dreams
Believers often hold specific, sometimes misguided, beliefs about dreams, treating them as direct, infallible spiritual messages rather than psychological or symbolic experiences. These views can lead to fear, unnecessary anxiety, or spiritual manipulation.
Common Misguided Beliefs About Dreams
-If you don’t dream at night, your dream life is under attack by the devil, and your destiny has been stolen by the devil.
This is a lie. God gives His beloved sleep and communicates with his children through the Holy Spirit, and is a constant witness in their heart than a system of sleep and dream before making any serious decision.
-Angels of darkness appear as angels of light in dreams, and they mislead, misguide, and deceive many believers to do things contrary to the will of God while believing that they are doing exactly what God wanted them to do.
-The more aggressive you are in your dreams, the more spiritually powerful you are! This is actually a very dumb belief system held by naive and powerless Christians who fail in real life while constantly claiming they have some sort of victory over the same enemy over and over in their dreams. Jesus has conquered the enemy once and for all. Every believer was born into a victorious life in Christ. The Work was finished on the cross; nothing was left for believers to do on behalf of Jesus.
All Dreams are Spiritual/From God: Many believe that every dream holds a divine message, ignoring that dreams can stem from thoughts, anxieties, daily activities, or physical conditions.
Dreams are NOT Literal Truths or SPIRITUAL in nature
Everybody dreams in one form or the other.
Some dream more frequently than others but this does not indicate any form of spirituality.
Dreams are products of the soul, not the Holy Spirit.
Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, the chief Baker, the chief Butler, were all pagans when they had their dreams which were recorded in the Bible.
There was no report of any of those who received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in the upper room experiencing or having any form of dream.
A major misconception is interpreting dreams literally rather than symbolically, such as believing a dream about dying means literal death rather than a season of change.
Those who believe in Dreams as a form of Spiritual Communication are always in Constant Fear of "Spiritual Attacks" because they interpret everything they see in their nightmares, such as falling, being naked, or eating, as automatic signs of witchcraft or demonic, "soul-destroying" attacks, rather than as reflections of anxiety or stress.
Dreams Overrule Scripture: Many believers do this daily. They don't know the scriptures; they refuse to read and learn the way of the Lord through His word, but they allow their lives to be guided by dreams.
Placing more importance on personal dream interpretation than on biblical principles and therefore creating "saintly superstitions" that can lead to confusion.
Guilt for Dreams: Feeling guilty or sinful for actions taken within a dream, such as adultery, when such experiences are simply products of the subconscious mind and not chosen actions.
Someone having wet dream insists he was visited by a spirit wife or a spirit husband and puts his or her life on pause or on reverse based on this dream.
Some believe anything they do after having such a dream will fail; this makes them anxious and leads to fumbling the interview or exam they needed to do in order to move ahead in life.
Many others will have such a dream, dismiss it, and ace the exam or interview.
Such dreams are not a factor in the life of the believer
Relying on "Dream Interpreters": A lot of pastors will encourage their members to share their dreams with them for the purpose of interpretation and a lot of believers also engage in this unscriptural practices which only makes them vulnerable to manipulation by their pastor or prophet or apostle who then use the dream to direct them to do things that God did not tell them to do based on his or her interpretation.
Believers who do this never have depth and do not have a good relationship with the Holy Spirit, so that they can be independent of their pastors and hear God for themselves
Seeking interpretations from individuals who claim special knowledge, rather than testing dreams against Scripture and personal prayer, is unscriptural and unhealthy for every believer
Neglecting Medical and Emotional Causes Of Dreams:
Attributing all strange dreams or nightmares to supernatural activity, overlooking, for example, that high fever (malaria) or overeating, fear, hunger, love, trauma of every kind, heartbreak, bereavement, and insecurity an=mong other things, can cause intense dreams.
Automatic "Reversal" of Dreams: Feeling the need to constantly pray to "cancel" or "send back to sender" every negative dream, which can create an unnecessary atmosphere of fear and anxiety rather than peace.
Making real what is not real in one's consciousness because of a dream, hating a member of the family, and labelling someone as a witch or an enemy just because of a dream, and being labelled as the enemy because of a dream, is not practising the life of Christ.
Christians who do this live in fear and have no faith.
Spirit Spouses/Manipulation: Believing that bad dreams are proof of "spirit spouses" or "familiar spirits" stealing or altering one's destiny.
Balanced Perspective
Many dreams arise from the human mind (soul-dreams) rather than a direct spiritual source.
We dream from a place of Knowledge because dreams are of the soul, which is the seat of knowledge.
The more of Christ you know, the more of Christ you will see in your dreams
The more of darkness you know, the more of darkness you will see in your dreams
Neglecting the Supreme Authority of Scripture
The Error: Believers may elevate their dreams above the Bible, treating them as personal "scripture" rather than filtering them through established biblical truth.
The Truth: The Bible is the primary and complete guide for faith and life. Any "revelation" from a dream must align with, not contradict, the Word of God.
Assuming Every Dream is Divine (Lack of Discernment)
The Error: Believing all dreams are messages from God, leading to the pursuit of interpretation for mundane or irrelevant nighttime thoughts.
The Truth: Many dreams are simply products of the mind, daily worries, or excessive activity (Ecclesiastes 5:3, 7).
Placing Limits on How God Speaks
The Error: Believing that if a message didn't come in a dream, it didn't come from God. This limits God’s sovereignty, as He also speaks through Scripture, the Holy Spirit, wise counsel, circumstances, and creation.
The Truth: God speaks in many ways, including a "still, small voice" (1 Kings 19:12), which is often missed when waiting only for dramatic dreams.
Relying on "Lazy" Spiritual Methods
The Error:
Relying on dreams as an easy way to receive direction, rather than doing the hard work of studying Scripture, praying, and seeking godly wisdom.
The Truth: God desires a relationship through the Holy Spirit that involves active seeking, not just passive reception of nighttime revelations.
Vulnerability to Spiritual Deception
The Error: Believing that a dream must be true because it feels spiritual, neglecting the warning that false dreams and deceptive spirits can influence people.
The Truth: Dreams must be tested. Satan can manipulate or plant false dreams to cause fear or lead believers astray.
Example: A lot of people had very weird dreams during the COVID pandemic due to the heavy dose of fear-mongering on media channels globally, with constant news of death and death projections
God didn't send those dreams and yet many believers were deceived
Ignoring the "Clearer" Voice of the Spirit
The Error: Overlooking the direct, inner witness of the Holy Spirit while obsessing over symbolic, confusing nighttime images.
The Truth: The Holy Spirit provides clear guidance to believers, which is often more consistent and direct than the need for dream interpretation.
Summary of Proper Perspective:
While God can still speak through dreams to those who are not full of the HOLY SPIRIT, He communicates with them this way because they are soulish beings and do not have the Same Spirit with him.
Once a believer becomes full of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, He should get into the culture of reading the Bible out loud daily and spending time studying the Scriptures and having conversations with the Holy Spirit. In no time, he will begin to hear from God and speak to God/speak for God in every situation. This is the life of Christ. Not once did Jesus experience any form of dream from God as a means of communication. God’s Spirit has been poured on all flesh, and we now prophesy, see visions, walk in Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom, anointing, and by the move of the Holy Spirit.
Sound doctrine warns against making dreams the foundation of one's spiritual life.

Why are believers so easy to deceive by these charlatans? Many believers lack knowledge. They would rather follow someone they feel knows the way than study the Bible and come into the fullness of the knowledge of the power of God over their lives and destiny. Many believers don’t know what it means to be a Christian and what premium value God has placed on them and their destinies in Christ.

Bridging The Knowledge Gap In Christ
Many times, you meet believers who have become slaves to fear, religion, false prophets, evil prophets, wicked pastors, deliverance ministers, and ignorant preachers who do not know any better but practice what they think is right in the name of Jesus with zero understanding of the gospel.
A believer bought two plots of land in a good area in Lagos, he went to meet his prophet to share the good news that he was about to commence the building project, the prophet told him he would laid the foundation with the death of his first child and complete the building with the death of his last child unless he gives the land to God and build a church with it for his ministry.
Another Christian was told that his land in Delta State had been taken over by demonic powers, and if he stepped on it, he would die immediately. When the Christian asked what he should do to redeem the land, the prophet asked him to deposit 5 million Naira into the ministry’s account for spiritual work.
There are several spiritual leaders (male and female) who slept with (raped) Christians who came to them seeking deliverance from being single or in the course of trying desperately to become a mother
A Christian was told by his prophet that he had only a few days more to live because witches had concluded the work of sharing his meat in their meeting. He asked the prophet what he needed to do, and the prophet told him God said he had to sponsor his (the prophet’s) first child’s education, starting with paying the prophet the arrears that had already been spent on the child’s school fees, back to the prophet as a form of redemption for his life. The day he stops paying the fees will be the day he dies.
Sermons preached by many well-known leaders of the faith who claimed to be anointed with proof of the anointing working in their lives reinforce the belief system that you must give something to get something in Christianity. I heard a minister cite an example of giving one million dollars to God (His ministry or another ministry) and getting the answer to one of his prayers as a result. His members respond by trying to emulate him in engaging in this trade by a barter system with God, believing this is what it means to have faith and to give the seed of faith, or put their faith to work.
Deliverance ministers and ministers from all over the world are all deceivers. They do not have an office in the fivefold ministry, nor were they mentioned in the scriptures as being of any value in the church. Every Believer has the power to cast out demons according to Jesus himself, but these liars have somehow convinced believers that they have demons that need to be cast out every three months, and they also offer family deliverance, career deliverance, academic deliverance, and so on
Why are believers so easy to deceive by these charlatans?
Many believers lack knowledge. They would rather follow someone they feel knows the way than study the Bible and come into the fullness of the knowledge of the power of God over their lives and destiny.
Many believers don’t know what it means to be a Christian and what premium value God has placed on them and their destinies in Christ.
A sister who was on the plus side met a young man who wanted to marry her. She took the good news to her mother. Her mother told her that she must get approval from her Apostle. She went to see the apostle, and the apostle told her she would have to share his bed for the cleansing ritual if she ever hoped to have a child in the course of her marriage. He called it a personal deliverance session. The lady agreed, and the apostle then said she must pay him for it. She asked him what he wanted, and he said a big cow for the annual convention of the church.
The lady didn’t have enough money to buy a cow, and she couldn’t share what the Apostle said with the man who wanted to marry her for obvious reasons. She reached out to me on X and told me her situation.
I asked for the phone number of the Apostle and gave him a call. I told him I have the recording of his conversation with the woman as an investigative journalist and that I would publish it online for everybody to see and hear
He said I would die if I tried it.
I said okay and rang off.
My phone rang a few minutes later, and it was the lady’s mother. The Apostle had called her and told her about my call. She said a lot of things about the curse that comes on those who meddle in spiritual things and “touch the anointed.”
I told her the Apostle has said I would die, and the Bible said he who blesses shall be blessed and he who curses me shall be cursed. I didn’t have to say a word. He has judged himself.
The mother started cursing, and i rang off.
The Apostle died on the morning of the next Sunday.
The mother and her two daughters left Benin that Sunday and showed up at my office the next morning.
The mother and her daughters fell on their knees, asking me for forgiveness of sins and begging me to bless them so that they would not die too
I did what they asked so that they could pay attention to my words
When I was done, i asked them to sit down and showed them from the scriptures that I am in no way different from them or more special in any way.
They gave their lives to the same Jesus I gave my life to and received the same Holy Spirit I received. The only gap between us was knowledge. I know who I am in Christ, and they didn’t know who they are in Christ.
When you don’t know who you are, another person will define you, and he or she will define you as a lesser being than himself or herself.
When you know who you are in Christ, nobody will ever be able to take advantage of you spiritually, psychologically, mentally, emotionally, materially, or financially.
You must see the value Christ has placed in you and never allow anybody to treat you as if you are not valuable to God in your own right.
PS: If you desire to truly learn and grow in the knowledge of Christ, you can do so on your own with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Some years ago, a Nigerian Christian man who went to Ukraine to study saw so many disheartening sights on the streets of the city on his way to and from campus.
There were many Eastern Europeans who were lost to drug addiction and other destiny-destroying vices.
This condition is the usual direction which people who find themselves without hope, freedom, the right to dream and pursue their dream head in human reality.
They ask questions about purpose and destiny. They know they were created for a purpose, but when the environment is not conducive to the purpose of fulfilment, escape becomes the haven of the weary.
In many cases, drug addicts get into the habit to escape the disturbing reality they face in real life. I should be more, become more, do more, do better, be better, and achieve something meaningful with my life are valid questions every individual poses to himself or herself at one point or another in this world.
These internal struggles, especially when there are no obvious answers or hope of an answer, would usually lead people into vices.
There are several ways to ease this condition; you cannot help every individual to fulfil their destiny. That duty is sancrosanct and personal, but you can offer a conducive environment for their aspirations to find an expression and a possible route to fulfilment.
The government is usually expected to do this. Create an enabling environment for the citizens to become whatever it is that they aspire to be.
When the government fails to do this, the citizens become frustrated, and the end result is that some of them would seek thrills and escape through drugs.
This was the condition in Ukraine in the 90s. The young Nigerian man was, however, a Christian. He understood that there is a divine destiny that does not need government policy to find fulfilment. This destiny is in Christ, not religion!
He began to witness to the drug addicts on his free days. He would show them love, assure them they could beat the trappings of their drug problem and show them the power of the word of God in rehabilitating them and setting them on the right path.
Within months, he had a group of people who believed in his message of hope and thronged to him on campus and on the street.
This was how he started a church.
Eastern Europe had been under the heavy influence of the Soviet Union and its "No God" policy for several years.
The government was at first skeptical of this young man's moves, but they turned a blind eye when they realised that he was curing the ills in their society and getting a lot of people off their drug habits.
The gospel he preached was Christ.
What Jesus came to do
What Jesus has done
The implication of what Jesus has done for every man and woman
What the Holy Spirit has come to do for anyone who believes in Jesus and accepts HIM as Lord and Saviour
The power that the believer has from the moment he or she becomes anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit
The supernatural life and realities of every believer.
This gospel was revolutionary in a country that had long declared that God was dead.
It changed the lives of millions of people.
The news of the exploits of this man went global within a few years
Many pastors started using him as an example to their missionaries and young pastors
His church was full of "White" folks who had valid testimonies and infallible proofs of their transformative destinies in Christ.
This pastor then came to Nigeria to see some of the biggest ministries in Nigeria and learn one or two things from them.
He didn't write to any of them to introduce himself
He wanted to attend their services as a believer and glean from the wealth of their knowledge.
His experience was shocking.
He saw that Nigerian pastors at the highest level were not preaching the gospel
They were teaching people about family battle, evil pattern, evil arrow, family deliverance, witches, witchcraft, voodoo, juju, sorcery, divination, glory thief, dream life, spirit husband and spirit wife, Queen of the coast, village people, enemy of Father's house, Strongman of mother's house, quarterly deliverance, fasting for anointing, seed sowing to be able to prophesy and all sorts of things that filled the minds of their members with the consciousness of the devil, evil and darkness and nothing of any value about Christ and His finished work on the cross.
He couldn't hold back his criticism, which was posted all over social media and YouTube.
A lot of Nigerian Christians have, through the teachings of these so-called pastors embrace a strange mindset full of fear and unproductive activities, which has become a substitute for the drug addiction epidemic he saw in Ukraine when he travelled there as a student.
Prayer books were being written and sold to people who then end up learning all these demon-inspired prayer points that have nothing to do with their destiny in Christ.
He bought some of the books and saw prayer points like "Every market where my glory is being sold at night, I shut you down" and so on.
How do prayers like this inspire the believer to walk in the fullness of the power of the gospel?
How can any demon ever aspire to sell the glory of the believer, which Jesus gave to Him in John 17?
Will a demon sell the glory of Jesus?
The way these pastors interpret the bible to their congregation is so twisted that it has produced a morbid and gory mindset in their members.
This mindset then reinforces what they were being taught in their dreams and life experiences.
These Christians suspect everybody of trying to hurt them or being possessed and are quick to run to their pastors for deliverance, even though they are full of the Holy Spirit and should be the LIGHT delivering the unbelievers from darkness.
The final blow was how the believers don't know they are saved and are always begging God to count them worthy of salvation or entry into heaven instead of acknowledging that they have eternal life and have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Unfortunately, the religious industry in Nigeria is a trillion Naira juggernaut that cannot be stopped.
The church leaders continue to milk members by preying on their fear of the enemy, an imaginary evil forces and the wrath of God.
The believers in the Bible were addressed as SAINTS in all the epistles, but the believers in Nigeria are always praying and begging for forgiveness of sin because they see themselves as sinners.
It was as if the leaders of the churches in Nigeria deliberately set up their ministries to teach a distorted version of the gospel so that their members would never really enjoy the liberty and power that Jesus purchased for them with his blood.
Sin consciousness, devil consciousness, enemy consciousness, evil consciousness, and hell consciousness were what the average Nigerian Churches feed their members.
No wonder they are so powerless.
Some of them are scared of cats, cockroaches, wall geckos, snails, and other things, and often attribute evil omen to these things if they see them in real life or in a dream.
PS: The average Nigerian Christian should pick up the Bible and read it plainly for themselves.
Read with the mindset that the word was written to show you who you are and your true destiny in Christ.
Once you discover the truth, throw away all the books, teachings, and totems reinforcing your old belief system.
Flush your system by praying in the Holy Spirit and reading the Bible daily.
You will find your body full of light and your spirit ascending into the places predetermined for you in Christ in no time.

The Original Witness Is Always Inward
As a minister, you will meet several people who will come to you to complain about the direction of their lives and how they are sure they were doing everything God told them to do, but not only are they not finding joy in what God told them to do, they are not successful at it.
You wonder why.
Why would God tell you to do something that you find no pleasure or joy in?
Why would God make your life unnecessarily burdensome by making you do something that is tedious and demanding of your all, without offering you any form of delight or rest in the fulfilment of that purpose?
That does not sound like God at all.
The place of fulfilment for every man or woman is the place of doing what they are born to do.
Nothing satisfies like destiny
Nothing stills a restless soul like coming to a place of fulfilment of purpose and destiny, and nothing troubles a soul like a lack of fulfilment.
You sometimes come across people who have made a lot of money, but are still restless and searching for meaning because their success felt hollow and devoid of a sense of accomplishment.
Money cannot buy fulfilment
A man or woman who has come into a place of fulfilment in life would automatically stop wandering and rest.
When you ask such people how they knew they were doing what God told them to do, their usual response would be "A prophet told me God wanted me to drop everything I was doing in Nigeria and travel abroad because this is where my destiny lies. Now I am here, and my life is worse for it."
A prophet told me to drop everything I was doing and start a ministry. I obeyed, but my life has been a struggle since then.
A prophet told me to marry this man, and from day one, it has been hell for me.
A prophet told me to start this business, and it has been loss after loss for me from the day I started.
In every instance, without any exception, the instructions they received from the prophet did not come as a corroboration of what they already knew or what they were already skilled at or gifted at or what the Lord told them in their hearts one-on-one.
In most cases, the word of prophecy took them away from their comfort zone into a territory that they really had very little conviction about.
This is why people fail.
The word is nigh you
The instructions of the Holy Spirit must first be real to you in your spirit before a second or third person would come to you as a witness to confirm what you have already heard or known in your heart due to your relationship with God.
A lot of people have no relationship with God, but they claim all the time that God gave them an instruction or told them to follow a path or do something.
Such people are very easily deceived.
External promptings are popular in the Old Testament of the Bible because the Holy Spirit had not come upon the people of God at the time.
In Hebrews 1, the preacher said God spoke to our early fathers in different ways. He spoke through the early preachers. But in these last days, He has spoken through His Son. God gave His son everything. It was by His son the God made the world.
The Son shines with the shining greatness of the Father.
The Son is as God in every way.
We all know that John had in his documentation of the last support in John 14, 15, and 16, Jesus described the Holy Spirit as the Alos Parakletos. (One like me)
This then refers to the Spirit in the Believer as the Spirit of Jesus or the Spiritual dimension of the person of Jesus.
In essence, every born-again Christian is guided by this inward dwelling Spirit and not by a word of guidance or prophecy by the external instruction of any preacher, prophet, or pastor.
Those who do not cultivate a relationship with the Holy Spirit within them but depend on the word of a pastor or prophet as the word of God are opening themselves up to spiritual manipulation.
A whisper of "I like that brother" in the pastor's ear, and he might tell you a sister who didn't like you in any way is your wife.
A whisper from your parents in the pastor's ears could influence you to study a course, believing you are studying the course in obedience to the will of God.
So many believers have been set on the wrong path by prophets who really didn't hear from God but pretended to do so in order to retain their respect and relevance to the person whose destiny they were fiddling with.
In 2008, right after I graduated from the University, I registered myself at the CMD library in Lagos and began to fulfil my ministry.
I had received from the Lord on September 17, 2007, several instructions regarding my life and destiny.
I knew I was destined for ministry and that I would be a teacher and a writer.
My mates graduated and started pursuing employment, entrepreneurial activities, and so on.
I had no drive to do such things
I felt no energy, zeal, impetus, or enthusiasm towards finding a job or starting a business, or working for that matter.
I was convinced I had to go into ministry, but I also didn't want anything to do with planting a church and becoming a pastor or the like.
I had read "In Touch," a document from Dr Charles Stanley's ministry and other materials, and felt like producing or writing such materials, but instead of publishing them, I wanted to share the materials digitally.
The question everybody asked me at the time was "How does this translate into money for you. How would you feed yourself and start a family without a job?
I had no answers, but I started anyway.
I titled the daily devotional "Daily Laughter," and I began to write daily and send them out by email to hundreds of contacts, which I had painstakingly gathered from several sources.
The CMD library provided me with electricity and a place to go every weekday.
I was doing what I was called to do, and even though I had no money, I was on top of the world.
The mistake I made was the "If you will like to support this ministry, send your donations to......" line that I attached to the email daily.
Months after I started, I received a phone call from an old schoolmate who happened to be on my email list and who was getting the daily devotional in his inbox daily.
This brother insulted me so much that I still feel the sting.
"Go and look for a job, you scoundrel. You are going about deceiving people that you are a pastor or a preacher instead of getting a job so that you can feed yourself and your family.
You are waking up, writing devotionals and stylishly begging for money from people to suport your ministry.
Nobody will give you a dime, lazy bones!
The Holy Spirit sent me to rebuke you, he said I should instruct you to go out there and get a job immediately."
That phone call changed everything.
I stopped writing.
I went to look for a job
I started out with Prime Shelter on LTV as a freelance writer before becoming a producer with a media outfit in Anthony and later a News Producer with CORE TV.
I hated my life in those days.
The thing the brother said the Holy Spirit told me to do, i was doing it with tears and sorrow.
It is one thing not to be financially settled; it is another thing to live your life feeling as if you are running out of air to breathe every second.
Five years later, I got a job with a church as a PA, and I had a visitor. A colleague of mine named Frank Omolapeh, a broadcast journalist.
As we talked about my new job and what I should do with some of my downtime, this brother said, "Write. You have a natural flair and talent for it. Use it for the Lord."
Wow.
It was what I had always been called to do, what I started to do before I was derailed.
I began to write
I began to share the gospel in my own unique way
I began to share and demonstrate the fullness of the power of God in the land of the living.
This was twelve years ago.
Obedience has taken all over the world, as far as China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, and as close as every state in Nigeria.
I have sat with kings, rulers, leaders of all categories and kinds. I have literally seen the word of God come to pass in my life progressively.
I enjoy doing what I do, and I do it effortlessly. I have practically forgotten what it means to labour and toil.
I am working now at 1:35 AM Nigerian time, and I am doing so of my own will and with the aim of pleasing the Lord.
This is what it means to find yourself positioned right in the middle of your destiny.
If you are doing something, even if it is pastoring, lawyering, doctoring, singing, dancing, or prophesying, and it is a chore and a labour for you.
It is not from God.
God brings the best out of every believer from a place of rest.

As a single parent, dont let anybody gaslight you!
Your child is more important than that new lover, husband or wife.
You should protect that child from being abused all because you want to fit into somebody's life.
The day you decided to give birth to that child, you made it your duty to put him or her above all else.
Please remember this always.

We Are Children of The Resurrection
When Jesus died on the cross, He didn’t take the place of “Christians,” but the place of sinners. He came as a man’s substitute. The whole world has been saved from the punishment of sin, but God’s interest wasn’t just to save man from the punishment of sin, but to save man from the life and nature of sin.
The death of Jesus Christ settled the charges against us, but it didn’t make us one with God or reconcile us to God! It didn’t bring us into friendship or a relationship with God. It didn’t give us eternal life until we took the very next step, as revealed in Romans 10:9-10. It says anyone who confesses the Lordship of Jesus and believes that God raised Him from the dead shall be saved.
Our individual confession of His Lordship and belief in His resurrection, “activated” our salvation; it gave us eternal life and brought us into oneness with God. We were awakened to the fatherhood of God, to the recreation of our spirit, to the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and the efficacy of the Word of God.
Now, Jesus Christ isn’t only the Lord of your life, but also One in whom you’ve found rich and deep fellowship: “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ” (1 John 1:3). This is what God always wanted with man: fellowship! Jesus made it a reality. Now, we’ve been made associates of the God-kind; we’ve become God’s dwelling place. All these were made possible, not by His death, but by His resurrection
Ephesians chapter 2:10 (AMP) For we are God’s handiwork, recreated, not renovated, recreated, I’m a brand new man, that’s why the bible says in 2cor5:17 recreated in Christ Jesus. This is the new Superman, I know who I am, and common somebody shout Hallelujah!
I am God’s own Handiwork; He didn’t say we meant to be, he didn’t say if we pray very hard, we will become; this is a supreme declaration of the Almighty God. A statement like this is a spiritual law. This means in the mind of divine justice, it is what it is, it is the knowledge of the spirit, you are God’s workmanship; he has declared it, what else could you be looking for?
Expect to think in line with him, and when you start thinking like that, others who are around you who don’t will start saying you are braggadocious, they will say why are you taking so much upon yourself? Because they are religiously minded, they don’t understand that there is a difference between truth and religion.
Religion is struggling to please an unknown God; truth is a reality, you have arrived, it’s called absolute knowledge. It is the epignosis of him, absolute knowledge, divine revelation; you just know something has been imparted to your spirit, you come into a knowledge of him, it is not scientific knowledge, it is not left in the reasoning faculty, it is imparted to your spirit.
Just like you, I was not there when Jesus was born, but I believe, and I know, and I’m assured, he was born of a virgin. I know in my spirit because I believed it, and that truth became resident in my spirit, I know that I know that God raised him from the dead. You ask me if Jesus is the son of God, and I answer and say I dare you to believe it is the truth of certainty.
He is the son of God! I’m not trying to think so, John 3:36, because when I believed everlasting life impacted my spirit and I awakened to the fact of the fatherhood of God, I moved from being a believer to a knower!
Christianity is not an assumption; Christianity is not a speculation. It is far removed from the assumption arena; there is nothing speculative about Christianity. You know you are brought into knowledge, a divine knowledge, a divine revelation, that’s why he prayed for the Ephesians church in Ephesians 1:17-18, the spirit of wisdom and revelation into the knowledge of him.
I want your spiritual eyes to be open to understanding what has been given to us in Christ Jesus. We are not ordinary men; something has happened, something has actually transpired; there has been a translation, a transfer from the domain and arena of darkness into the kingdom of God’s love son, that is where we now live. And wants you to have your spiritual eyes open to see that you are not where you used to be.
John 19:34, But one of the soldiers, at this point, this was when Jesus, was on the cross been crucified, he was not the first person to be crucified in those days, but something happens here that is significant, and you going to take notice of it, John 19:34, Jesus was already dead on the cross and just to find out whether or not he was dead, the soldier comes with a spear, and pierces him, through his side and the Bible says forthwith came there out blood and water.
John 19:35 means there is something about this water and blood that came out of Jesus that was so important to the writer that he made him say it was a sign. And on this occasion, he lets us know a sign has just taken place, blood and water just came out of the body of Jesus, and he says the one who saw it bore record.
We know that his record is true, and he has written it so that you meant to believe. What does he want you to believe? Turn to John 2:19-21. John said Jesus was talking about the temple of his body. John understood he was talking about his body. Jesus Christ was the Passover lamb on that great day. That night, that lamb was killed, and John already alluded to that; he already said it.
Jesus was our Passover lamb. When Jesus died, he died when that Passover lamb was supposed to be slaughtered.
So who is Jesus? He is our lamb sacrificed, the new temple, the new and living way. When he died, he tore the old temple in two, opening the new and living way. That old temple is gone; the new and living temple is here. Jesus Christ is our temple. The lamb was slain once, and he was slain once and for all. Glory to God

There are some people, if you make the mistake of giving them a word of prophecy as a minister or a pastor, you have committed kamikaze.
Until that prophecy comes to pass, you will have no rest.
They will chase you with phone calls, text messages, and WhatsApp messages, and in some cases, they will stalk you and literally hound you every minute of every day for daring to give them a word of prophecy.
This is why many men of God put a huge distance between themselves and those they minister to. Some wouldn't even allow you to have their phone numbers or any form of contact address.
People abuse access, and desperate people abuse access desperately. If you give some people the room, they would be calling at whatever they desire from sunup till sundown and moonup till moon down!
Most of those who behave this way are not thoroughly furnished with the word of God.
Ministers must not encourage them or baby them. If you think indulging them is a way of helping their faith, you will realise that the more you do so, the more helpless they will become.
Once you become a crutch for them, you would have turned them into permanent spiritual cripples that you have to drag everywhere in a wheelchair.
Lead the believer to the Holy Spirit and allow Him or Her to grow thereby!
If you do this, you will see the believer thrive and become a fulfiller of prophecy instead of waiting for prophecy to be fulfilled for him or her.

When I write and talk about Kingdom prosperity, I am not talking about some miracle money where people wouldn't have to work or do anything other than pray to get some financial windfall out of nowhere.
It is not impossible for God to bless his children that way; we have the examples of manna falling from heaven. We also have the example of Moses manufacturing quail from nowhere, Elijah multiplying flour and oil, Elisha multiplying the widow's oil, and Jesus multiplying fish and bread from the Bible.
We also have the example of Archbishop Benson Idahosa multiplying building materials on the site of his building projects, and other ministers of the gospel doing wonders with the anointing in the place of provision, to confirm to us that God is not unmindful of the shortages of materials in relation to the desire in the heart of many to fulfil and accomplish certain tasks at certain times.
However, there is a difference between a believer who understands the purpose of redemption and is walking in it and the believer who is redeemed but has no understanding of what he or she has been redeemed into and what he or she was supposed to do with the gift of redemption.
There is a movie on NETFLIX, titled Bicentennial Man. I find the movie quite interesting because it tells the story of the true reality of any living human person who chooses to walk in purpose and find fulfilment.
A robot finds itself having feelings and desires close to those of humans. It was a rare gift, and it was surrounded by those who saw this gift and encouraged it to make use of it to the best of its ability.
They furnished it with free will. It studied and acquired a skill for creating clocks. It got its own bank account and naturally became wealthy through diligence and hard work.
The richer it became, the more it pursued the finer things of life, starting with clothing, then freedom, then ultimately love and the desire to be human.
That movie tells the story of how every believer should see themselves in the pursuit of destiny.
The onus to make something of your life is on you; the power to make wealth is inside of you. It is not out there being held from you by God or being held from you by the devil or the enemy. IT IS IN YOU.
It is not complicated, nor does it need any almighty formula to bring it out of you. It is not complicated or difficult. It is nigh you, beckoning to you, obvious to you, natural to you, and always staring at you in the face.
A friend told me she tried all she could to stop gossipping but she couldn't stop. She found out that there are many like her who enjoy a good gossip every day after class when she was in the university. She said her bunk was the gossip corner of the hostel throughout her university days, and she was studying Chemistry!
She said she went through a lot of "gossiping". A lot of people hated her, labelled her, made a pariah out of her, and many excluded her from their groups because
they realised that she couldn't keep her mouth shut.
She also had the innate ability to read people and know things before others do.
She would know who was in love with whom, who was dating whom, who got pregnant outside of wedlock, who the pastor was using as an example in his sermons, who stole something, and who lied about something.
She said she does not know how she almost always finds herself in the middle of the sweetest stories on campus, in the church, and in her family.
After graduating from school, she couldn't find a job for several months.
The gists kept coming to her, and she realised many people love gists and would send her messages asking her things about other people privately or asking her to update them on "current affairs".
She said she started a gossip blog as a result of this, and to her shock, hundreds of thousands of people flock to her blog daily.
Advertisements, commercial deals, and endorsements followed, and suddenly she was wealthy.
If you have the Bridgertons on Netflix, you will notice how eager we all are to hear Madam Whistledown's voice in every episode.
A talent as basic as gossip has made many very wealthy and influential.
A lot of believers basically don't believe in their own talents, gifts, anointing, and grace.
They borrow when they ought to lend
They beg when they ought to give
They forget the price that was paid for their redemption and that they were redeemed out of poverty into prosperity at the same moment when they were redeemed out of darkness into light.
This is why many of them are poor and sickly and beggarly and empty
Read the passage below as it describes all the things God has done for the believer and how God looks at those of us who refuse to take advantage of all the blessings he has bestowed on us.
Isaiah 5
I will sing for the one I love
a song about his vineyard:
My loved one had a vineyard
on a fertile hillside. 2 He dug it up and cleared it of stones
and planted it with the choicest vines.
He built a watchtower in it
and cut out a winepress as well.
Then he looked for a crop of good grapes,
but it yielded only bad fruit. 3 “Now you dwellers in Jerusalem and people of Judah,
judge between me and my vineyard. 4 What more could have been done for my vineyard
than I have done for it?
When I looked for good grapes,
why did it yield only bad? 5 Now I will tell you
what I am going to do to my vineyard:
I will take away its hedge,
and it will be destroyed;
I will break down its wall,
and it will be trampled. 6 I will make it a wasteland,
neither pruned nor cultivated,
and briers and thorns will grow there.
I will command the clouds
not to rain on it.” 7
It reads like the story of loving parents who invested everything in their children, and yet their children refuse to take advantage of everything given to them to make something of themselves in life.
Instead, they all sit idle waiting for their father to die so that they can inherit his property.
While waiting, they acquire debts, beg, and live like urchins simply because their sight is on their helplessness outside of their parents, while it should be on all the resources they have within, due to all the advantages they have gotten through the education and training of their parents.
The difference between a successful believer and a believer who is a failure is that simple.
Knowledge and the use of it is the dividing line!
If you don't strive to be the best, you will serve the best.

Kingdom Prosperity and The Believer
Prosperity has nothing to do with how hard you fast and pray; it’s the Lord’s doing. God is the One who prospers you. He delights in your prosperity (Psalm 35:27). You don’t have to wonder whether or not God wants you to prosper. He doesn’t want you to put your trust in step-by-step human calculations, because that won’t work. They may seem to work for some time, but they won’t last. True and lasting prosperity comes by grace.
A story is told in Mark 10 of a rich young ruler’s attitude to wealth. He wanted to know what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus told him to obey all the commandments, but he said, “Master, all these have I observed from my youth.” The Bible says Jesus looked at him with love, and said to him, “Go and sell all that you have, and give it to the poor, and come and follow me” (Mark 10:21). At that, the rich young ruler went away sad. He was tied to his possessions, for the Bible says he had great possessions; or, as someone rightly put it, “his great possessions had him.”
Jesus then looked around and said to His disciples, “…How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!” (Mark 10:23). Jesus was letting them understand that salvation wasn’t going to be by their money, or great possessions, but by the Spirit of God. Jesus wanted the rich young man to put his trust, not in his wealth, but in God, the giver of wealth.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2).
Many have only thought of prosperity in terms of money or the multiplication of material possessions, but prosperity is first an ability. Material possessions or finances are often the most common symbols or indications of prosperity, which is why many equate prosperity with money; but it’s beyond money.
Let’s review the example of Joseph in Genesis 39:2; the Bible describes him as a prosperous man: "And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian." We’re told that he (Joseph) made his master, Potiphar, to prosper, to the extent that Potiphar made Joseph overseer of all that he had: "…the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand…" (Genesis 39:5-6).
Even after he was falsely accused and sent to prison, the Bible says that Joseph was still prosperous. He was put in charge of the prisoners and the Lord made him successful in all that he did (Genesis 39:22- 23). You can be "in prison" and be prosperous. You can be working for somebody or an organization, and be the reason for their prosperity. Consider Jacob: the Bible says he made Laban prosper. In Genesis 30:27, Laban testified of this to Jacob and said, "…I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake."
Much more than the acquisition of material possessions, prosperity is the ability to help others prosper! It’s the ability to do what you want to do, go where you want to go, and be whatever you want to be to the glory of Christ! It’s the ability to please God, walk with the Spirit, and have His glory manifested in your life! It’s the Spirit of dominion at work in your life as a child of God.
You’ve been empowered by God, not just to prosper spiritually, mentally, physically, and materially, but also to make others prosperous.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper (Psalm 1:3).
No one born into this world was destined by God to be poor, sick, broken, depressed, downcast, or afflicted. Rather, God’s will is for all men to prosper and be in health, even as their souls prosper (3 John 1:2). He seeks the prosperity of your spirit, your soul, and your physical body: the reason you shouldn’t accommodate or accept sickness, poverty, or defeat.
I’m aware of those who say, “We shouldn’t always expect good from God; we should sometimes expect bad things, because life is full of ups and downs.” That’s a great misconception of the message of the Gospel. God isn’t the mastermind of the evil and suffering in the world. His dream, which has already been actualized for you in Christ Jesus, is for you to walk in complete prosperity.
This prosperity, however, is beyond money; the presence or absence of money doesn’t change your state or condition spiritually, and therefore shouldn’t change your testimony of God. Money is a tool. If for example, you require something, and your money isn’t enough for it, that doesn’t mean you can’t have it; you can get it free! That’s the life of prosperity I’m talking about. God never said, “Except you have the money, nothing will be yours”; rather, He said plainly, “…all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21). What’s important is the purchasing power, and your purchasing power isn’t money, it’s your faith! You’re what God says you are, irrespective of the currencies you have at hand or don’t have.
This same principle applies to your health. It makes no difference if you feel severe discomfort in your body; proclaim healing and health! Maintain a good confession, and your faith will prevail!
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9)
This portion of Scripture is your guarantee for a life of supernatural abundance. I’ve often said that the Christian is not the poor trying to be rich, but the rich discovering his inestimable inheritance in Christ. There are Christians who don’t believe in prosperity, but what we read in the scripture above reveals that it’s God’s will for you to prosper. 3 John 1:2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Not only does God want you healthy and strong, but He also wants you to prosper financially; it’s your God-ordained right, for you’re Abraham’s seed. The Bible says Abraham was blessed in all things (Genesis 24:1); he was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold (Genesis 13:2). In today’s language, it will be right to say he had a lot of money. As the seed of Abraham, you also have been blessed and enriched in all things unto all bountifulness: “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29).
You’re an heir of God, and a joint heir with Christ; therefore, learn to talk big. Refuse to talk about poverty. When you talk big and things start looking up for you in life, some people, especially the religious folks around you, will grumble at you and raise eyebrows. Don’t be moved by that. Just keep talking your way to abundance, and keep enjoying your prosperity in God. One thing religious folks can’t stand is our prosperity. It unsettles them and makes them restless: “…the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt” (Isaiah 57:20). But thank God the Bible says “Good men everywhere will see it and be glad, while evil men are stricken silent” (Psalm 107:42 TLB).
Prosperity is your God-ordained right in Christ Jesus, so don’t let anyone deceive you. There’s nothing too good for you because you’re the King’s kid! Refuse to be broke. Make it a conscious confession as you live in the light of God’s Word daily.
Keep talking prosperity, and when you see a fellow brother or sister prospering, be happy and rejoice with him or her, for that’s the life to which we’ve been called as God’s children.
There are those who think financial prosperity isn’t for Christians, and they’re wrong. There are three people we find in the Bible that God identified Himself with: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and they were super wealthy. In Exodus 3:6, God said to Moses, “… I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob….” Read about these three individuals, and you’ll be amazed at the extent of their prosperity.
Genesis 13:2 tells us that Abraham “…was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.” The Bible says of his son Isaac, “And the man (Isaac) waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him” (Genesis 26:13-14). Jacob, too, had a similar testimony; the Bible says, “ And the man (Jacob) increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses” (Genesis 30:43).
God’s prosperity isn’t for a select few; it’s for all who follow and live by His Word. He said in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” As a Christian, you’re an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17), which makes prosperity your birthright. All the wealth in this world belongs to you. This is how you ought to think. 1 Corinthians 3:21 says all things are yours; believe, think, and talk accordingly. Have the consciousness of sufficiency and superabundance.
If you’ve struggled all your life in lack, want, and penury, what you need is a new orientation; a new mindset. Change your language, your consciousness, and your thinking, and your situation will change. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind….” Think and talk prosperity until your whole mentality isn’t just overhauled, but supplanted by the possibilities of the prosperous life.
And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation] (2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC).
God’s plan is for His children to have an abundant supply. I’ve searched the Scriptures, and I find no place where it gives us the idea that poverty, lack and want might be God’s will; there isn’t even a suggestion of that in the Bible. Recall that even the devil blamed God for making Job rich and blessing him with great substance (Job 1:9-10).
You have to embrace this reality! Your financial and material prosperity is important to God!
He said in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul l prospereth.” Think about that!
Then Job 22:24-25 says, “Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust…and thou shalt have plenty of silver.” If you ever wiped a table clean of dust, you’d observe that after a while, dust settled again on the surface. It paints a picture of the kind of prosperity God’s people are called to experience—an unending and abundant supply.
It brings to mind the words of David in Psalm 23:1-2, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures…” That’s the way to think. You’re plugged into an unending supply. This has nothing to do with the country where you live; it’s the life you’ve been called to in Christ Jesus.
Recall again what we read in our opening scripture. God doesn’t want you conscious of need. You’re an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, “…all things are yours.” Your heavenly Father owns the whole world and has willed it to you because you’re Abraham’s seed: “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29).
Choose the joyful, prosperous life in Christ. Don’t see your job or business as your source of livelihood but as a medium to bless others. In Christ, you’ve been brought into the life of superabundance; acknowledge and enjoy your inheritance.

Free From Sin
Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness (Romans 6:18)
Paul had difficulty communicating the truth in the verse above due to the limitations of language. He said in the next verse, “I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh…” (Romans 6:19). The Message translation says, “I’m using this freedom language because it’s easy to picture…” (Romans 6:19 MSG). He had to bring the discussion to a seemingly mundane level that they could relate to.
The reality is that the new creation wasn’t “set free” from sin; rather, he was born sin-free; there’s a difference between the two. Born sin-free means you were born without sin. This is easy to understand when you realise that the new creation is the result of the resurrection (not the death) of Jesus Christ. Your new life started with the resurrection of Jesus Christ: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…”; a new species or kind of man, born in righteousness with no past of sin to be set free from. In Christianity, we don’t get set free; we’re free-born! That’s the reality for the one who’s born again. You’re sin-free. No wonder Romans 6:14 says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you…”
The concept of sin can’t be properly understood until you have a good understanding of the doctrine of righteousness. So, when the Bible says, “For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness” (Romans 6:20), the expression “free from righteousness” actually means righteousness-free or you were “righteousness-exempt.” In other words, you were a slave of sin and couldn’t practise righteousness.
However, now that you’re born again, it’s the reverse; you can practise righteousness and produce fruits and works of righteousness because that’s your nature in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
The Bible says that he who practices sin is a slave to sin John 8:34. Meaning if are life style is a life of consistent sin, then it is our master/ we are its captives.
Christ came to free us from captivity/ set the captives free, so that sin will no longer dominate or lives (sin -tresspassing Gods laws /standards or simply falling short of His standards of holiness)
John 8:36, who the Son sets free is free indeed. Meaning sin doesn't have the grip on me as it did before accepting Christ. I'm no longer controlled by my sinful urges, desires, and thoughts. I now have the power to submit to Christ and live a life that is pleasing to him. Rom6:18
Although even born again, believers fall short of God; we have a mediator (a go-between), who is Christ pleading to God for us. And if we confess our sins, he is just and faithful to forgive us. For he who hides sin shall not prosper, for what is done in the darkness shall be brought to light.
In Romans 6:11, it says:
“In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.”
It means that when we put our trust in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are made a new creation, and that we are set free from our bondage to sin, and the Holy Spirit gives us the power to obey Jesus. It means that we consider ourselves to be dead to sin and alive to God. It means we no longer live according to our old sinful nature, but we live for God. We don’t allow ourselves to consider going back into our old, sinful lives. Instead, we choose to follow and obey Jesus as those who have been brought to life by the Spirit. We have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. And just as Jesus died and rose again, so we die to ourselves and our sins, and are raised to a new life in Jesus Christ. Christians still sin sometimes because we struggle against our old sinful nature. We wont be perfect until we get to Heaven (1 John 1:8). But if we are truly saved, there will be a change in our life, and the overall habit of our life will be obedience (1 John 2:3). If someone’s life is characterized by a continual pattern of unrepentant sin, that shows they aren’t really saved to begin with (1 John 3:9). When a Christian does stumble and sin, we are still saved, and God is still our Heavenly Father, because Jesus is our Advocate who intercedes for us with the Father (1 John 2:1–2). And when a Christian sins, we confess and repent of our sins, and get back in line with God’s will for our life (1 John 1:9).
“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 5:1
The Bible lets us know that Jesus wasn’t only delivered on account of our sins, He was also raised for our justification: “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification” (Romans 4:25). What does it mean to be justified? First, you need to understand that there’s a difference between justification and forgiveness. The Apostle Paul, in the opening scripture, wasn’t talking about forgiveness, nor was he talking about remission. He was talking about justification. To be justified means “to be declared not guilty.” It means to be declared righteous.
Thus, in the eyes of God, you never sinned because God Himself, who should judge you for your wrongdoing, is saying, “No, you didn’t do wrong; you’re clean.” That’s what it means to be justified. The Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). The new creation is a brand new species of being, one that never existed before. For him, old things are passed away, and all things have become new. He has a clean slate, as it were, for he’s without a past. That’s why God can declare him “not guilty” because there’s nothing to judge since he now has a brand new life!
The Bible says when Jesus died, you died with Him; when He was buried, you were buried with Him; and when God raised Him from the dead, you were raised together with Him in newness of life (Romans 6:3-4)! That means all your sins are gone! You’ve been washed by the blood of the lamb and presented holy and guiltless before the Father.
The Lord Jesus suffered and endured the pain and shame of the Cross, not because of His sins or for Himself, but for us. He took our place and bore the punishment for sin on our behalf. While on the Cross, bearing the burden of our sins, He cried out in anguish, “…My God, my God, why have you deserted me?” (Mark 15:34 CEV).
Habakkuk 1:13 tells us that God is holy and doesn’t look at iniquity. That’s why God turned His back on Jesus because our sins were laid on Him. Jesus never wanted the separation from the Father as a result of our sins on Him; it’s the reason He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:39). Yet, the Father’s will prevailed: Jesus died on the Cross and descended into hell.
Upon taking all the punishment that was necessary, the Bible says Jesus was justified in the Spirit (1 Timothy 3:16) and was raised back to life. He was raised to life for our justification: “Who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification” (Romans 4:25). To be justified means to be acquitted of guilt, to be declared righteous. He was our substitute in death as well as our substitute in resurrection. When he died, you died with
Him; when He was buried, you were buried with Him. When God raised Him from the dead, you were also raised together with Him in newness of life!
Now, you’re sin-free, at complete liberty to serve the Lord and live for Him in glory and righteousness. You’ve become not just righteous, but also the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Such a blessed reality!

Dealing With Your Partner's Divine Call?
Husband was earning big in the corporate world of the UK
His Wife was a sugarbaby
Husband then turns 50, and he got a call from God to go into ministry
Wife was like Noooooo
Where will all my Gucci and Balenciaga lifestyle disappear to
Husband was vexed and resigned his job to follow God
Wife vexed that husband resigned...
Marriage became very rocky
She reached out, and I listened to her with a lot of laughter in my belly
I understand the husband
I also understand the wife
They will be fine
The contract of marriage is for better or for worse
For richer, for poorer
In corporate or in ministry...
She is now to redefine and become a pastor’s wife
That is the new path her husband has chosen, and if she still wants the marriage, she has to follow him
I am happy she is willing
We debate these things daily and often
God knows how to throw curveballs
I mean, it is God's specialty
It’s so true, and it’s often the lack of acknowledging that (talkless of managing it properly) that leads to the issues that follow
We must learn, however, to catch what God throws; it is always for our good
I understand the woman’s plight, but she should calm down and imagine how tough it is for the caller. I can’t imagine that it’s easy for the called too, just that the Caller is faithful.
A high percentage of women whose husbands became pastors after marriage didn't find it easy, but I tell you, once they embrace it, you would think they are the ones called.
Men are different from women in every way
We operate both as individuals and as husbands, and then as fathers
When God called Moses, he called him as a man
That is always how divine call operates
It is always individualistic in nature
And it is almost always for immediate engagement
As if God did not see or know that there are others whose decisions would be affected for good or ill
The call of God is the most perturbing thing to anyone who has experienced it
It is like swallowing a pestle
You won’t be able to sit or stand
Your nights will be plagued with all sorts of restlessness and restless stirrings
If you have not been in those shoes before, you will never understand it
This is not a change in career path...
This is not a choice
This is not a midlife crisis
This is hell unleashed in one's bosom, with the instruction that one should not shout
Until you obey that call, you will never know what a good night’s sleep is ever again
The only thing that can give you any form of solace is the thought of death
It is either you obey, or you die
That is how it feels in truth
It also changes you
Strips you of the usual understanding and sentimental trappings of your life
Money, children, wife, parent, people's opinion, responsibility, duty, sense, logic
You lose everything
You become numb because you have been conditioned or reprogrammed to follow this one path
So here you are as a man.
Able and empowered to obey this call all by yourself.
It is the only thing that matters to you now
It is the only thing that makes life worth living for you
As a husband, your wife is suffering through it
Your transformation is a threat to her life
To her joy and fulfilment
Your choice is taking her on a journey out of stability and a certain lifestyle to another strange direction
She asks you what is going on
You say, "I have been called by God, and I am resigning my job to follow this call.”
What about us? What about the children? What about our plans? Do I have a say in this matter? Has it all been decided? Can we do this gradually? Can we get counselling? Can we take it slowly??
She is talking to a man who has been stripped of those options
God didn’t give this man an option
God called him
It is like trying to reason with a flood; it didn’t cause itself, and it will sweep whatever stands in its path away without remorse
Nothing anybody says will work
Nothing!
He cannot be reasonable; he cannot be sensible
He has been stripped of all reason
I always take a look at Moses and Zipporah
How did that woman cope until she couldn't cope anymore?
Her husband literally died to her from the day he heard the call of God
Their stable life and ordered life were replaced by journeys after journeys
First trip to Egypt
Then the confrontation with Pharaoh
Then the trip back to Horeb
With this man disappearing into the mountain tops
Forty days here
Forty days there
She had no husband left
He became to her a total stranger
Counselling people day and night
It is a tough thing to be married to such a man
That is the truth
Who raised the children of Moses?
They were terrible children
Aaron's children were better
He was a priest, and the nature of his call was very different from that of Moses
So, like every priest, he enjoyed stability
Moses didn’t
Today he was in the tent of meeting, tomorrow on the mountain, next tomorrow he will be under the cloud, his face was shining so much that he had to wear a veil
It was tough
So the practical solution is to leave him or to believe in him to the extent that, as a woman, you embrace this stranger and his ways without question
If you embrace his ways, you will change too
You will become more and more like him
It will mean that everything you knew and loved would change
You will lose many things in order to gain many things
But this period usually doesn’t last for too long
Like pregnancy, the period between incubation and rebirth is usually within the first five years
The power in that man will replace everything you have lost and replace every person you have lost along the way
While you were just a member of something in your past life, you will become a leader of something in this life
That was the point God was trying to make all along
The call makes you a leader of vision, and those who will be called into that call will be a part of that vision
Your total commitment is required if people are to also commit totally to that vision
Nobody likes to follow someone who is not sure of where they are going
Once the first five years of obedience are done, you and your husband will have become transformed to the point that those who knew you five years ago would practically not recognize you again
It is not a choice you made, but it is a choice to follow the one who is the way to your destination
Before somebody says the husband should have communicated better....
Please imagine Moses trying to communicate his call while stammering to Zipporah
Please imagine it
Especially the stammer...
Remember also that he was a wanted fugitive who wanted to go back to Egypt
And that he was taking her away from her father's palace, where she had lived all her life
There is no way to communicate the call
It’s like asking someone who needs to urgently go to the restroom to read Psalm 119
What the wife should do is very simple
It is called Support
She may not jump on the bandwagon outright
It is normal to be skeptical
What does support entail? And is it fine to step in gradually? Should she be bothered about other people having a certain profile in their head about the position/role she should occupy
But a word of support, buy books, hug, say you understand, encourage him, don’t let it be all about you and your needs, etc
It has to be GOD now
Your language has to be we will do God's will
All the adjustments that ought to be done with the family's finances pls do it
Sell that big house for a smaller one and save the money
Don't nag him, he will only get irritated
If you criticize him, you will only sound foolish
If you ignore him, you are e doing him a favour.
He has stopped seeing you since the moment he got the call
[06/04/2026, 17:44:04] GSW 2: If you leave him to it without any support whatsoever...
He will become successful regardless of your support, and once that transformation has been done without you...
You will never be able to fit into that call again
Like Zipporah, you will be an outsider even though you are in the same house
Miriam was more of a mother to the Israelites than Zipporah, for that reason
Apart from the fact that the Jews were racists and would have made it through for her to lead...
Zipporah didn’t take Moses' evolution well
She didn’t evolve with him

A man and a woman got married
The woman had serious insecurity issues.
She believed that if her husband got a good job and made money, he would cheat on her
So she did everything to make sure her husband was always broke.
If he got a good job, she would say it would affect her career of he took it
She has a good career, and she was making enough money for them to get by
So he had to be the one caring for the children.
This he did diligently.
When he noticed that his wife was uncomfortable with him having a job, he began to apply for remote jobs.
Social media manager, online PRO, Project writing, Academic writing, and commercial writing.
All the money he made, he saved without his wife’s knowledge of the wife.
Eventually, he made enough money to buy land, and he began to build.
He built a house in eight months.
He wanted to tell his wife about the building project when it was complete.
The day he sent the contractor the money for the fittings for the house, his wife arrived home from work and told him she was just coming from their pastor's house, and the pastor had asked to meet with the two of them.
When they got to the pastor, the wife said she was tired of being the main provider in the marriage while her husband took care of the children and remained underemployed.
She said he had rented an apartment and would like to take the children with her to the new apartment while the husband sorts himself out.
The rent on the apartment where they were living at the time was going to be due in two months.
The wife was proposing that she give him two months of grace to live alone in that house while she would take their children to the new apartment she rented.
She wanted a separation, and she wanted the pastor to mediate it so that the husband would accept her verdict without a fight.
The husband told the pastor there and then that he had built a house.
The wife started laughing and jeering, "Liar. Thats how he lies all the time. I got him a job to work with my brother, but he refused. House? Who dash monkey banana?"
The husband brought out his phone and showed the pastor the videos of the building project.
The pastor shows it to the wife.
The wife said it was a lie.
Maybe he is building for his parents, his friend, or his brother
Houses don’t drop from heaven
This man is lying!!!.
Finally, the pastor said, "Is the house far from here? Can we go and see it?"
They went the next day.
The wife got to the house and began to weep
How can a man build a house without informing his wife?
This man hates me
This is not love
He built a whole house, and i have no penny in it
So that he would throw my things out at will
I cannot live in this house
I cannot!
The pastor said, "They are doing the tiling and the fittings, but they have not done the kitchen cabinet.
Can you pay for that???
So that you will not say you didn't contribute anything
Can you also buy the curtains and do the interior decoration for the house?
The wife was eventually placated.
She paid for the kitchen cabinet and the curtains
She also did some artworks and a bit of the interior decoration
They moved in, but the wife was restless
She rarely slept in the house
She complained that the house was too far from her office, or that the road was not motorable, or that there were bushes around, etc
She would sleep in town throughout the week to return home on weekends
Eventually, she perfected her plan
Took the children and sued for separation as she had always planned
Then she told the court that the house should be sold and half the cost given to her
The husband said she didn’t contribute to the house apart from the kitchen cabinet, curtains, and artworks, etc
The court said as long as she is married to him, the property belongs to the two of them
That is the position of the law
The man got a bulldozer and pulled the house down to rubble
He salvaged the things he could and ground the rest to dust.
The wife is still in court, fighting over the property!
