How often do I need to participate in training for WHMIS 2015? At a minimum, an annual refresher is required to be completed with all workers to ensure workers are provided the knowledge required to safely use, store, handle, and dispose of hazardous products.

All workers who work with, or in close proximity to, controlled products are required to be trained in WHMIS 2015. This training should include: product labeling, safety data sheets, hazard identification, personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency response.
