FALSE!! #NLIHC is hosting 300+ community leaders, policy experts, researchers, tenant advocates, affordable housing practitioners, and others for Capitol Hill Day tomorrow, March 13! These advocates came to D.C. to talk about housing! They're telling Congress to take action on the housing crisis that's impacting the lowest-income and most marginalized renters in America. And these are just the people who traveled to D.C. Others are taking action in their home states! #Forum26

At #Forum26, Brian Goldstone, journalist and author of "There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America,” will be signing and selling his book at the Advocacy Center in the International Terrace from 12:10 pm - 1:00pm!

Yesterday, #Forum26 Day 2 ended with our first breakout sessions. Today, we'll be starting with Zillow's plenary session, "Technology and Tenant Protections: Tools to Expand Access, Stability, and Equity," before proceeding with the rest of our breakout sessions. In the evening, the closing plenary will feature speakers, Brian Goldstone, Kennetha Patterson, and Rob Robinson before ending the day with honoring and celebrating individual leaders and organizations at the Leadership Awards Reception! -Ohio has a shortage of 265,000 affordable units available to extremely low income renters (ELI) -That’s just 37 units per 100 ELI households in Ohio -73% of Ohio's lowest income renters spend over half their income on rent, up from 66% five years ago.
