Yeah, we've just opened up entries for our next race and already have women signed up who will be flying in for our race. We've always treated all our races the same. Everyone who races is an equal in our eyes and the athletes all respect that.

@agibby76 @SnowToSea Maybe it’s worth talking with @NLTCBMBC. They host amazing crits and training sessions in London, at @HerneHillVel and @LeeValleyVP and see@ to get a huge women’s turn out who travel internationally to race.

@alexdowsett Helmets should be made compulsory for banging our head against a brick wall every time someone suggests that wearing helmets should be the law for cyclists. Your recent crash was in a race and shows why helmet use is now compulsory in racing though. Heal up

@Alec_Pedaler @metpoliceuk Yes. Please report anything you see no matter how small or trivial. It’s getting dark at commuting time now. If you head through the park regularly in the evening keep an eye out and be vigilant. Best to find some other commuters to head through the park with if possible

Hello all, a few friends have been troubled by groups of people trying to steal bikes and belongings around the Olympic park area, mostly by the bridges on the shared cycle / footpaths. Please take caution. Hopefully @metpoliceuk are on it as multiple reports have been made.

If you're a bike racer who has never helped organize, promote or even volunteer at a cycling event, you are doing yourself and the community a disservice. It's hard work but fun and rewarding. It will also give you a look at what us "idiots" who run bike races do to make it work.
