Over 140 Dutch ambassadors met this week in🇳🇱 for the 2026 Ambassadors’ Conference. Discussions focused on geopolitics, migration, consular work & international cooperation. FM David van Weel highlighted the need to strengthen alliances, while adapting to a rapidly changing world

We welcomed a delegation from the National Museum of Slavery of the 🇳🇱 to 🇬🇭. They visited Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Fort, Java Museum, and met local experts. The week ended at Nkyinkyim Museum, reflecting on healing & our shared history. #nlgh #Heritage #CulturalDiplomacy

The Ambassador today conveyed the sympathies and condolences of the Netherlands people and government to the government of Ghana and the families of the 8 Ghanaians who tragically died in the helicopter crash. Our thoughts & prayers are with the victims’ families & loved ones.

It's peak travel season coupled with technical challenges. Currently, processing of visa applications to the NL takes up to 30 days & even 45 days in individual cases. Our colleagues in The Hague are working hard to solve the issue. We apologize for this inconvenience.
