Women's rights and gender equality are important issues for me. As a minister, as a human being, and as the father of two daughters. #InternationalWomensDay is a day to reflect. But not to be silent. That is why I spoke with three inspiring women: Mekka, Alma, and Linda. 1/2

Over breakfast at the NL Residence in London, we had a good exchange with representatives of several UK governments departments working on NL and the EU Delegation. Discussions focused on plans and priorities of the new NL government and opportunities for further cooperation.

This evening, our Deputy Ambassador, @AvandenBroek participated in a commemoration service at Trafalgar Square in London, organised by British-Ukrainian Aid and Support Ukraine.

🇺🇦 Today, we commemorate four years since the full-scale Russian invasion in Ukraine. Although Ukranians, both on and off the battlefield, have had to endure tremendous losses these past years, their courage and resilience holds strong.

They have officially started! Today, we welcomed our new ministers @ministerBZ Tom Berendsen and @ministerBHOS Sjoerd Sjoerdsma to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We look forward to working with them. 📸 RVD

If you do not need a visa to visit the UK for short stays of up to six months, you need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). From 25 February 2026 you will not be able to board your transport or legally travel to the UK without an ETA.

At the annual North Sea Neighbours conference in the Hague, 🇳🇱 and 🇬🇧 reaffirmed our close partnership and discussed cooperation on cyber resilience and the protection of critical subsea infrastructure. Strengthening shared security remains a common priority.
