Grateful for our MCMS member Dr.Ed Lowe providing this rich history. As a resident, he would attend grand rounds at @ColumbiaPS where Dr. Maynard would engage trainees. Dr. Maynard, Director of Surgery at Harlem Hospital, successfully operated on Martin Luther King, Jr., in 1958.

Greetings to our MCMS family and Thursday Blessings! Today’s news from the Supreme Court Against Affirmative Actions does not come as a surprise but is yet another disappointment for our nation!

If you plan or would like to meet at the burial site, please be patient as we are still waiting for specific instructions. An update will be sent as soon as the information is received.

Burial will take place Thursday, June 22nd at Rose Hill Cemetery located at 792 E. Edgar Rd, Linden NJ, 07036. The casket will leave the Frank Bell Funeral Home at 9:30am.
