We are seeing flash flooding along several of our roads this morning with these storms rolling in. Areas of Crescent Beach and Windy Hill have already recorded over 2.5 inches of rain. Use caution out on the roads and do not attempt to drive through standing water.

All lanes of Hwy 31 S/B back open. All Emergency Vehicles have cleared.

Traffic Update: All lanes of Hwy 31 Southbound are being closed at Robert Edge Pkwy as wrecker crews remove tractor trailer from woods. Use alternate routes

2 Lanes of Hwy 31 Southbound are closed in area of Milemarker 5 as crews work a MVA involving a Tractor Trailer into the woods. Expect delays along this route. Truck 1, Squad 3, Engine 1, Battalion 1, Car 2 operating on scene.

Avoid Hwy 17 both directions in area of NMB Flea Market. We are assisting @hcfirerescue with Mutual aid on multi alarm fire. Lanes blocked in both directions.

All lanes of Hwy 17 are closed between Windy Hill Rd and 37th Ave South and will be closed for extended time. Use alternate routes.

North Myrtle Beach welcomed a 2020 Pierce Arrow XT 1500GPM pump fire engine today. The new engine will be housed at the Windy Hill Fire Station. The new fire engine replaces a 2000 KME that reached its frontline service capacity. The old fire engine becomes a reserve engine.

All Lanes of Hwy 17 now reopen. Truck 1 will be remaining on scene for next few hours. All other units and mutual aid companies have been cleared.

Fire Update: Southbound Lanes of Hwy 17 in area are now open. Northbound lanes remain closed

Fire Update: Fire contained time just Advanced Auto Parts Building. No damage to exposure building. All active fire extinguished. Crews continue to work aerial streams and will be on scene for extended time. Hwy 17 still closed all directions in area.

Highway 17 closed in both directions from 6th Ave S to 2nd Ave South due to a motor vehicle accident. Avoid area and use alternate routes.

E-2, E-4 in process of cleaning up following a vehicle fire at the Johnny Causey Boat Ramp under the Hwy 17 ICW Bridge. No other vehicles damaged.
