ICYMI | More than 40 Chihuahua alumni celebrated Aggie pride in style at the NMSU Alumni gathering at Época Cocina Mexicana in Chihuahua, Mexico! 🤠 Joining the festivities were @nmsu_aces Dean Rolando Flores Galarza and @NMSU_engineer Dean David Jáuregui, who had a tremendous evening — full of stories and laughs! — getting to know our Chihuahua Aggies over exceptional food and drink! 🥂 It was also an evening to honor the unbreakable bonds, past and present, between our Chihuahua Aggies, Mexico, and NMSU. 🌱 The deans gave updates on the cutting-edge research and teaching from each of their colleges, but also paid tribute to the roots of the NMSU agricultural program with the presentation of a memorial video tribute to #NMSU legend Fabián García and his dedication to education and bilingualism. We are so proud to be part of this tradition of pride, spirit, and education that knows no border.
