On World Cancer Day, @francisca_xb's PhD project was awarded an Oncology Research Grant by the Portuguese League Against Cancer (Southern Regional Center) and the Benfica Foundation, to support her work on testing predictive biomarkers of therapeutic response in rectal cancer. 🙏

We proudly have a new Master! 🥳 Our Daniel stellarly defended his MSc dissertation, evaluated with a perfect 20/20! 🤓👏

On 25 Feb, Nuno introduced the Lab to our new colleagues in a seminar entitled "Thinking critically about big data at NOVA Medical School". It was very well attended (don't be fooled by the empty first couple of rows) and received. We feel very welcome at @nova_medschool ! 😊
