Foraging isn't just about gathering food; it's a nervous system reset skill that requires respect for nature. Here are five essential rules to get you started: 1. Always positively identify a plant with at least two reliable sources before eating it. 2. Harvest sustainably, never take more than one-third of a wild population. We need to think about future generations while foraging! 3. Know your lookalikes! Some plants like wild carrot and poison hemlock can look similar. Educate yourself before you harvest. 4.
