How long should you keep a pinned post on X? Most people pin something and leave it there for months chasing a target, while newer tweets that could’ve blown up sit unpinned and die. Your pin is prime real estate. Treat it like one. Switch it when you have something performing better. Go back and pin the old one later if you still need it. Serious matter! Ghanaians involved in this $215 million BEC fraud ring that hit victims across 47 US states and 19 countries. Crime has no nationality, but when our people are named in such big international cases, it hurts all of us. We need to crack down hard on these cyber fraud networks and promote legitimate ways to succeed.

Twenty-five(25) individuals, including three principal defendants identified as Nigerian nationals Oluwafemi Michael Awoyemi, Aruan Drake, and Peter Reed, have been convicted in connection with a $215 million international email hacking and fraud scheme, following a federal jury verdict in Toledo. The individuals are accused of operating a business email compromise(BEC) scheme that was reportedly used in targeting over 1,000 victims across forty-seven(47) U.S. states and nineteen(19) countries by infiltrating business email accounts, monitoring communications, and sending fraudulent payment requests. Among those who pleaded guilty are Ghanaian nationals, Emmanuel Essilfie and Kingsley Owusu, who are both linked to the wire fraud and money laundering conspiracy. [📸: United States Attorney’s Office]
