I have two clear messages: First, to the United States & Israel: It’s high time to end this war that is risking to get out of control, causing immense suffering on civilians, with dramatic effects on the global economy & potentially tragic consequences, especially for the least developed countries. Second, my message to Iran: Stop attacking your neighbors, they were never parties to the conflict. The Security Council has condemned these attacks, has ordered them to stop, as it has order to open the Strait of Hormuz. The prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz causes enormous pain for so many people around the world who have nothing to do with this conflict. It’s time for the force of the law to prevail over the law of the force. It’s time for diplomacy to prevail over war. My remarks from the European Council in Brussels: un.org/sg/en/content/…

米国連大使「日本の総理が自衛隊による支援を約束」と主張 ホルムズ海峡の安全な航行の確保で ift.tt/S9R0lCO

To all the signatories: What was the situation with the Strait of Hormuz before the illegal war of aggression by the American and Israeli regimes? Didn’t you know that you were all benefiting from the free passage of energy and trade, while Iran—under constant U.S. disruptions—was hardly able to benefit from that same privilege, yet remained committed to ensuring safe passage for others? Was that not total restraint by Iran, even under such hardship? Stop accommodating the American and Israeli aggressors. Don't try to outdo each other with these statements. Stop the aggression itself. The aggressors expect hearing the same statements, so as to continue with their destabilizing mission. At the very least, have some fairness.

高市首相、トランプ大統領に「憲法9条の制約」説明 茂木外相明かす asahi.com/articles/ASV3Q…

Key Points from Iranian FM Araghchi's Interview with Kyodo News: 🔹Question: Do you have a message for the int. community regarding this unjust war against Iran? 🔹Answer: Our message is that this war is not our war. This is a war that has been imposed on us. We were negotiating with the U.S. when they decided to attack us. This was a clearly aggressive act; an illegal, unjustified, and unprovoked act of aggression. What we are doing is purely self-defense. We will continue to defend ourselves, however necessary and for as long as necessary. So we hope that the whole world will have a single voice against this aggression, that is, the aggression of the U.S. and the Israeli regime and force them to stop this aggression. 🔹Question: What do you expect Japan to do to resolve this crisis? 🔹Answer: Japan has always taken a fair and balanced position and has always been known as a friend to Iran. We have always had very good relations with Japan, and we are aware of this. During this war, I spoke with the Japanese FM twice. We know that the Japanese PM was in Washington. We hope that Japan can play a constructive role in ending this aggression and ensuring that this unjust war is completely ended. Our position is, and I must repeat, that we do not accept a ceasefire because we do not want the scenario of last year to be repeated. The war must be completely and permanently ended, and there must be guarantees that this situation will not be repeated. Additionally, the damages that have been inflicted on Iran must be compensated. 🔹Question: Is there currently an active mediator to achieve a ceasefire? 🔹Answer: Some countries are trying to play a positive and constructive role. We welcome any initiative that can completely end this war. We are ready to listen and consider. But right now, although some countries are trying to find a solution, the U.S. does not seem ready to stop its aggression. So we will continue to defend ourselves. 🔹Question: What are Iran's conditions for a ceasefire? 🔹Answer: As I said, we are not looking for a ceasefire. We want a complete, comprehensive, and sustainable end to the war, and the only acceptable solution in our opinion is a complete end to the war.

Welcoming the Prime Minister of Japan to the White House. 🇺🇸🇯🇵 Two nations. One powerful alliance.

Ummm is the Japanese PM ok?
