As Thanksgiving approaches, we pause to reflect on the people & communities who make health care in #NorthernOntario stronger. To our learners, faculty, preceptors, and partners; your work changes lives and sustains our communities. For that, we are deeply thankful!

Next week, @thenosm second-year learners begin their early clinical placements across communities in #NorthernOntario. Thank you to the communities who welcome learners with openness and generosity, and to the preceptors who share their time and expertise.

Today, we mark the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. At @thenosm, learners and faculty walk alongside Indigenous communities, honoring survivors and working toward health care that is culturally safe and rooted in respect. We stand with you today and every day.

This Thursday, we’ll gather to celebrate Franco-Ontarian Day with a staff & learner breakfast. We honor our Franco-Ontarian heritage & its impact on health & education in #NorthernOntario. All @thenosm staff & learners are welcome (September 25, 8-9am at HSERC 109 and ATAC 2022)
