STACKING UP THE GUARDS
Former San Sebastian Golden Staglet and Gilas Pilipinas Boys point guard Mark Esperanza makes an early commitment to the Ateneo Blue Eagles, adding to the AMBT's recent recruitment class of youth standouts including Jay-M Leal and Kieffer Alas.
The 5'11'' guard last played in the NCAA Season 101 Juniors Tournament, averaging 20.25 points, 5.17 rebounds, 4.58 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
Prior to playing for the Staglets, Esperanza also led the Adamson Baby Falcons to the UAAP Season 86 boys' basketball championship, bagging Finals MVP honors.
Currently in Grade 11, Esperanza will finish high school before suiting up for the Blue Eagles in Season 90.
