@GerberKawasaki Ross - Tesla doesn’t actually “make” their own chips. They design some like the fsd and dojo chips. But their flexibility comes from the ability to rewrite firmware and utilize various available chips whereas legacy auto is stuck.

Teslas ability to execute during unprecedented supply chain issues and chip shortages makes this accomplishment even more amazing. Turns out making your own chips is a huge strategic advantage. $tsla
