Stunned myocardium - Acute brief ischemia, heart is shocked However flow is restored to heart either spontaneously/ through interventions Still left ventricular dysfunction is noted Takes days to weeks for the heart to recover

📍Under conditions like heart failure - ketone bodies utilised as fuel as requires less metabolic processing Furthermore , it's a sympathetic overdrive condition, lipolysis occurs in response to increased catecholamines Lipolysis -> fatty acids -> ketone bodies hence used by❤️
