In just 6 months time, the fields will be buzzing and Ploughing 2026 will be underway! 🚜 Today, we’d also like to wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers who are the backbone of families, farms and communities across the country.

It was lovely to be at Portlaoise Library with Longford and Laois County Council for the unveiling of Bosca Beo, an innovative project designed to help people record, collect, cherish and share their life memories with loved ones. @AgeFriendlyIrl

Great to be at the Certified Irish Angus Schools Competition awards in Croke Park. Well done to all the students who took part. Fantastic to see so many young people showing such passion for agriculture. Congratulations to the overall winners from Sacred Heart Secondary School.

A great day in Tralee with @AgeFriendlyIrl at the Age Friendly Ambassador Day. Lovely to meet Danielle Keane, Age Friendly Programme Manager and fellow ambassadors Francis Brennan, Geraldine Plunkett and Gavin Duffy.
