A Happy Friday Note for All GM Staff. We've done really well in the first half of this business year. Managed lots of changes successfully whilst retaining a clear focus on BAU - altogether a challenging environment. Much more to do. We know. We're on it. A huge thank you. Great!

Early start at Leadership School '24 @ Mercure Mcr. Delighted to have been invited to deliver leadership reflections at the event. Virtually all agencies represented in the multi disciplinary audience of over 200. Engaging group, positive questioning & focus. Good programme.

Finishing the week with attendance at GM Courts Development Day @ Cheadle. Far reaching focus on service delivery in a changing context of court work, combining BAU with new initiatives. Good leadership group to take our strategy onto its next phase. Excellent discussions.

Good to get going with GM Leadership Development Programme 24/25. High level of attendance and engagement. Culture, Quality & Leadership was the focus of first module. Look forward to future sessions. Thanks to all GM Ops Leaders for making it such a successful event.

Busy but productive week. Nice to end on a stable SDS 40 footing as management of all releases gone to plan. But there's more work to do. Great credit to everyone at GM Probation to stay with strategy during the week. Keeping pace with BAU.

SDS 40. A huge thank you to all GM staff for an amazing effort to deal with all our releases today. Strategy executed well, through a calm and focused approach. We'd remain vigilant throughout SDS40 phases to ensure rebust focus on public protection.

Busy but productive week. Lots going on, shifting agendas, but making much progress. GM staff and leaders showing good resilience in tackling change whilst keeping BAU in focus. Nice to see continuing determination in a testing environment. Building on a well established model.

Civil disturbances cases falling into an interesting profile, a bit different from 2011 riots. If sentencing leads to higher level of community sentences than 2011, it would present a good opportunity for interventions to address risks. Adaptation & innovation.

PDU visit today. Lots of focus and positive energy in a changing environment. Reset, SDS 40 and managing the impact of civil disturbances. Good commitment and engagement from partner agencies. Our strategy has some way to go, but there's excellent momentum. On track.

Service Delivery Review Meetings - first round of 24/25 starting well. Good to cover 4 PDUs last 7 days. Continued sustained levels of progress against business plan objectives. Reset going to plan. Much more to do moving forward. Thanks Team GM.

Working with Women - Good to see GM commissioned training featured in Effective Practice Guide. We identified a gap in this field and wanted to address it positively to support our well developed women's strategy. A positive investment. We're building on our work in 24/25.

Resetting Remit of Rehabilitation - good to lead on another Reset Practice Discussion Forum. Positive focus on service delivery & evidence of change embedding into practice. Key to progress everyone continuing to establish their role and responsibility in whole system change.

Nice to Chair Second Reset Practice Discussion Forum today - good participation and thoughtful reflections on change. Good to see strategy further embedding into practice whilst our GM staff continues to deal with all the changes around them. Thanks all for a great effort.

First two week Probation Reset period coming to an end. GM regional strategy is designed to create a positive focus, engagement & calmness on the frontline. It's doing that. Stepped approach that's delivered so much. There's lots more to do, but we'd get there. Thanks everyone.
