If it’s throwback time 😉this is me imagining how I’d have responded to all the breast-beating (I am amazed how quickly we oscillate between chest thumping and breast-beating) of Trump and his India policy and Sergei Gor: Diplomatic tone (formal, reassuring): “India’s partnership with the United States is unique and self-standing; we prefer to focus on results, not rhetoric.” Witty tone (a touch of cool irony): “Hyphens belong in grammar, not diplomacy — India speaks in full sentences.” Statesmanlike tone (calm authority): “India engages as India — not as a comparison, not as a category, but as a partner of consequence.”
