@charlesdowding I would be really interested in seeing a nutrient analysis comparison of the two #composts. @NRMLaboratories are well set up to do this & I have used for decades. It is amazing the difference between feedstocks & time composted, particularly in the plant available #Nitrogen.

Did you use N-Check last year? 7,478 #farmers did, & we found that on average, in the 0-30cm soil profile, 30kg/ha of nitrogen was available to the crop. However, values ranged from 0.48kg to 252kg N/ha. Don’t #wastemoney on fertiliser you don’t need: cawood.co.uk/save-money-on-…
