Dunston Beck project is well on its way, with top soil stripped back and the formation of the bends clear from our photos. The variation in depths and flow patterns will sort the sands and gravel on the riverbed, improving water quality and delivering benefits to the ecosystem.

Our #Lincolnshire teams have been out checking water courses in the local area. Can you spot the hi-vis in this picture on #SouthDelph near #Lincoln? Footpaths can become flooded during high rainfall events, we urge everyone to stay away from high rivers until the peak has passed

Every year around 400 people in the UK die from drowning. Thousands more are left with life-changing injuries. Accidents can also happen to you. Don’t take risks and don't jump into rivers or reservoirs. #KeepSafeKeepOut #DeadlyDangers @RoSPA

Have a look at this design to see what adaptations can be made- at a home level- to reduce the impact a flood can have.

Visit Anglian Waterways: @Ang_WaterwaysEA
The #RiverNene on the @EnvAgencyAnglia #Waterways has had a face lift. We have re-used reclaimed material, incorporated recycled material & lowered our long term maintenance needs. We also reduced site time from 3 weeks to just 3-5 days whilst still enabling boaters to use locks.

We invest significantly in protecting #Lincolnshire from coastal #flooding this includes beach renourishment. I visited to check on HS&W and #coronavirus measures. All very impressive including the site induction material waiting with personal sanitiser.

It may be 🌤️ today but last week our #MEICA team and contractors were out in the 🌧️ making sure the Trent-Witham-Ancholme water transfer scheme can operate, helps maintain summer water levels and public water supply. Last weeks rain helps but please #UseWaterWisely.
