The Institute of Skilled Trades (IST) is a transformative step forward — expanding opportunities and elevating trades education across the province to build a stronger workforce for tomorrow.

Through the Enhanced Direct Entry Pathway with BCI, Christopher found the support he needed to return to training without financial stress. With free training, allowances, and encouragement from the BCI team and Local 1588, he was able to enter the skilled trades confidently!
