NSE Fun Run - complete with Peg a Principal!

NSE Families came together for a night of fun during our annual Fun Run! Thanks to all who came out to support us!

This week was Teacher Appreciation Week, and we were thrilled to celebrate NSE’s staff! From classroom coffee deliveries, frozen treats, and more, our PTO made this week so special. NSE teachers, you go out of your way to do what’s best for kids every day. We ❤️you! 🦅

We had a wonderful time at Wednesday’s board meeting celebrating our Teacher of the Year, Senora Alvarado!

Early results conclude the following in the lead: EC: Ms. Osman, 233 pts K: Mrs. Stephens (Blue group), 1,248 pts 1st: Senora Valdez (Green group), 4,091 pts 2nd: Ms. Maiden & Ms. Hudson, 9,364 pts 3rd: Mrs. Wilson & Mrs. Bratton, 55 pts Penny Wars continue until next Tuesday!

Happy Administrative Assistant Day to our very own Mrs. Mullen and Mrs. Berryman! These two incredible, hardworking, and kind administrative assistants bring so much joy and zest to NSE! #Allin every day!

Our Spring Reading Challenge is underway! The challenge is for students to read and log 15 steps. Students will be rewarded with popsicles and extra recess after break to celebrate them! All reading logs are due to the homeroom teacher on Monday, April 17, 2023. Happy reading!

Congratulations to NSE’s Teacher of the Year, Señora Gloria Alvarado! Señora Alvarado is the second grade Spanish Immersion teacher. Her vibrant personality, passion for teaching, and wonderful contributions to the Immersion program make her an incredible asset to our school!

On Tuesday, April 4th, our Spanish Immersion students put on a spectacular performance to showcase their skills for their families! It was a wonderful evening! A special thank you goes to our SI staff and volunteers for making this night a success.
