The Office of the Fire Marshal wants to remind residents and business owners to take care when clearing snow and ice from buildings. Falling ice and snow can damage propane storage tanks, piping, lines and other equipment. Avoid tossing snow where equipment is located.

This training is a critical component of our current career firefighting recruit training class and does not pose a risk to the community.

We will be conducting training for firefighting recruits in Waverley on June 6. Residents may see smoke in the vicinity; however, there is no risk to the community. Details: fal.cn/3yPwr @hfxfire
