This driver was ticking all the wrong boxes this week when he was stopped in East Harling: ❌ No insurance ❌ No MOT ❌ No tax He was also disqualified from driving . Driver reported for all offences and vehicle seized 🚨

People often say to go find ‘real’ crime, but this is exactly why we do what we do. This driver was caught speeding at 43mph in a 30mph limit. Turns out he's disqualified and failed a drug wipe - arrested for both offences. He also had no insurance so the car was seized too 🚫

The team issued 19 TORs yesterday, during an hour of speed checks on St Crispins Road, Norwich. 8 of those drivers were doing in excess of 46mph in a 30mph zone, including these motorbikes 🏍️ It is simple, speed kills - slow down.

@steve_motoperf Hello, a vehicle could be seized for several reasons; from being illegally driven (i.e. without insurance) to involvement in criminal activity. A seized vehicle could be sold at auction to cover recovery/storage costs, and potential fines, or as part of Proceeds of Crime Act.

@NSRAPT Can I ask for what reason would a vehicle be seized by Police and sold auction?

This rider's skill ran out when he crashed after pulling wheelies with a mate. He was reported for careless driving and issued with a Sec 59 (warning for vehicle related ASB). Unfortunately for him, he'd already had one in the last year so his bike was seized 🚫

Officers spotted a man who was wanted for burglary in Norwich over the weekend. When stopped, he also failed a drug wipe so was arrested for drug driving, burglary and going equipped 👮 Thank you to the member of the public who assisted officers on scene 👍

This car was seized in Norwich this morning. It had no insurance as the driver was already disqualified following a previous incident of drink driving. The driver was reported for driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance 🚫

A member of the public reported a poor manner of driving in Norwich. Officers found and stopped the vehicle. He was arrested, taken to custody and later charged with drink driving and driving a vehicle in dangerous condition. He awaits his day in court ⚖️

This driver was stopped on A11 at Wymondham for driving at 91mph. It was pointed out to him that his number plate was completely illegible 👀 Please make sure you are maintaining your vehicle this winter!
