Today our Executive Director got to present a recap of the lege session to leaders in Cy-Fair ISD! While our mission is focused on school districts in NTX, we know districts across the state need support to stay informed with lege changes. Thanks Cy-Fair ISD for the invitation!

Yesterday, the 89th Legislature convened for a special session. This 30-day session was called by Governor Abbott to address 18 items, including several that impact public education. Learn more and sign-up for our newsletter to follow along at ntxec.org.

Today we celebrate the birth of our nation! To paraphrase Lincoln’s words at Gettysburg, we must continue the work of those who have fought to advance freedom. This gives us cause to celebrate in unity with gratitude for the hope of what the USA represents!
