Entire cattle industry watching for where prices are high enough for producers to retain heifers & rebuild the herd… I think they’ve got it wrong. We should be watching for prices high enough to retain producers. I believe that’s the price the market is actually seeking out.

The advice of putting all profits back into your small business to maximize returns is great advice for most. However if you do not plan to sell your business (farm or ranch) you should consider a liquid asset like high dividend index funds.
