The last two days of the @SocietyEconGeol and @TeckResources funded fieldtrip were amazing. We visited #TaraMines and @DalradianNI looking at core and discussing amazing geology. Thanks to both teams for sharing knowledge and for all discussions, and LUNCH 😀

Our 4th year students studying the faulted contact between the Sierra Cabrera and the Vera Basin, SE Spain. The 10-day field course to the Almeria area linking the metamorphic basement, volcanics and sedimentary basins to the wider tectonic evolution of the western Mediterranean
