Yesterday's graduation marked an extraordinary milestone for our graduates, @NorthwesternU, and for incarcerated people in the U.S. The day also gave Michael Broadway, an NPEP graduate, the opportunity to reunite with his mother, whom he hadn't seen in nearly 20 years.

Linzer Award for Faculty Excellence in Diversity and Equity for her leadership with @NUPrisonEd, which made history in 2023 when incarcerated students inside Stateville Correctional Center were the first in U.S. history to be conferred a bachelor’s degree from a top ten university.
