@NVSD44 students at Elementary Summer Learning participated in an awesome Colour Fun Day activity that involved teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking. We loved seeing all the team spirit!

Awesome learning and fun happening at Elementary Summer Learning. Last Friday was Games Day. Students had lots of fun using communication and problem solving skills as we built community in our summer classes.

Always a pleasure to represent NVSD Summer Learning at Enhanced Programs Night. It was wonderful to connect with so many families from across the district.

It was wonderful to welcome families in for our Elementary Summer Learning Open House. Students were excited & proud to share their learning. A great way wrap to up and celebrate the tremendous work of students and teachers. @NVSD44

Students applied reading strategies to create Instagram accounts for a character in the novel, “Holes”.

Students reflect on the strategies they’ve learned so far at Elementary Summer Learning. Amazing to see the growth and hear conversations about strategies that work for them. Building self-advocacy and metacognition is so important.

Some of our Elementary students completed a Marshmallow Challenge. Not only was it a great ice breaker to build classroom community it helped students derive ideas for their classroom essential agreement. @NVSD44 @curric44
