Widespread rain expected as a frontal system moves through. Rainfall amounts of 0.50 to 2" are anticipated through Fri AM. Highest amounts across western/northern NY & northern New England. This will lead to Action Level rises, but no new river flooding is anticipated.

A frontal system will bring widespread and beneficial rain to the region starting Tuesday afternoon through midweek. Totals above 1.50" are possible in western NY and the mountains of VT/NH/ME, although exact placement is dependent on convection. No new flooding is forecast.

A low moving along the coast, will bring rain to Southern New England and Eastern Maine tomorrow. Totals over an inch are expected in SE Maine. Below normal streamflows are present throughout New England while much of NY are normal or above streamflows.
