A cold front has moved through the Spokane area, ushering in profuse amounts of sunshine. Temperatures behind the front will actually be quite mild in the 50s and 60s. Can really "see" the front with the cloud deck this morning. #wawx #idwx

An atmospheric river has been stalled out over the Northwest this week. The Cascades have played a big role in the rainfall distribution with western #wawx picking up heavy rainfall and seeing flooding impacts. Lighter rain has also been observed in the #idwa Panhandle.

@RoryDee10 The river gage on the St. Joe was owned by the USGS and discontinued because of a lack of funding. They would be the agency to contact answers.usgs.gov

A mild, showery week lies ahead with temps climbing into the 60s and 70s...quite warm for mid-March! Rain chances will be focused over the mountains Wednesday and Thursday, then will spread across the region Friday. A cooling and drying trend is in store for the weekend. ☔️🌡️

Here is a simulated reflectivity loop showing rain moving into the Idaho Panhandle and southeast Washington this evening. In the Cascades, very high snow levels will result in mostly rain, which will lead to rises in area rivers, especially along the Stehekin River. #wawx #idwx

A mild and breezy weather pattern will settle into the Inland NW this week. Rain, heavy at times will impact the Cascade Crest. Light to moderate rain will impact the North Idaho Panhandle. This will lead to rises on area rivers. #wawx #idwx

More snow for the mountains tonight to Mon AM. Not as much; yet 1"/hr rate possible at Stevens Pass this evening. Lowland chance of light precip this evening to Monday. Milder air pushes snow levels above pass level toward mid-Mon, so snow to rain is expected. #wawx #idwx
