It’s National Bike Safety Month! NYMTC celebrates biking as a critical component to our transportation network & as a way our region stays moving. We continue to advance bike safety through transportation planning projects that improve multi-modal travel on shared streets.

NYMTC Transportation Innovation Series 🚢 In 1811, Robert Fulton’s Clermont Ferry began passenger service between NYC and Albany—transforming regional travel and maritime innovation. The Clermont Ferry serves as a symbol of innovation in transportation over 200 years later!

Earlier this week, the Village of Great Neck, NYMTC, and @VTC_Rutgers hosted a community planning workshop to identify unsafe intersections along Middle Neck Road. Residents discussed potential safety improvements and explored strategies to enhance the streetscape.
