Within 60 seconds of each other, our FIO and NST teams each made separate firearm arrests, stopping armed individuals before another shooting could happen in our community. Proactive policing saves lives, and last night was another example of that in action. @NYPDCT

Proactive enforcement leads to safer streets. During a vehicle stop at a checkpoint, our Q-Team arrested a male illegally in possession of this loaded firearm. Another weapon removed before it could be used in violence.

During a dispute, our Field Intelligence Officers observed a male openly in possession of this firearm. Officers immediately took action, safely apprehending the individual and seizing this loaded weapon before the situation escalated into violence. @NYPDCT

Immediately following a shooting incident, NST rapidly identified and apprehended a suspect, seizing this illegal firearm before more violence could occur.

A proactive investigation by NST resulted in the arrest of an individual and the seizure of this firearm. Illegally possessed guns continue to drive violence in our community, and proactive policing remains critical in keeping dangerous weapons off our streets.

Our Q-Team conducted an operation that shutdown of an illegal gambling location operating in our community. These establishments prey on vulnerable individuals, fuel criminal activity, and create conditions that can lead to violence. @NYPDQOL

NST Officers responded to a menacing with a firearm call, quickly canvassed, located the suspect, and made an arrest. This loaded firearm used in the incident was seized.
