Topics include commercial barriers, liability and risk management, technology selection, procurement approaches, and potential funding pathways. Last night's storms brought down trees and knocked out power across parts of the Hudson Valley and Long Island. We're tracking an estimated 82,000 outages statewide and working with utility companies to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. State crews are helping our local communities clear debris so that restoration work can move forward.

Parts of the Mid-Hudson received over 5" of rain last night, making these areas the most vulnerable to flash flooding from additional heavy rain today. 1-3" of additional rain is expected for the Mid-Hudson, NYC & LI today. A Flood Watch remains in effect through Tuesday.
