Today, we are taking another step toward making New York safer. Moving forward, Kratom will be treated like alcohol or tobacco, with age limits and warning labels to protect kids and stop preventable tragedies before they happen.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. We honor the babies gone too soon and the parents who carry their love forever. 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss, yet too many grieve in silence. Let’s break the silence, spread compassion, and stand together in remembrance. 🕊️

This past weekend our Chair Jackson, along with Sen. Webb, Sen. Mayer, and AM Gabriella Romero, had the honor of serving as panelists for the AFCL Women’s Conference. The discussion centered on women’s leadership, the barriers faced in public service, along with much more!

Chair Jackson & Assembly Member Amanda Septimo participate in Strolling for life; a community event bringing awareness to infant mortality in the Bronx. Every baby deserves a chance to thrive. 💙 Infant mortality is preventable—improving healthcare can save lives.
