I'm so sick of loving relationships between a disabled & non-disabled partners being portrayed as revolving around care giving. Where's the love, joy & passion? Where's the reality? My wife has cared for me, but I have for her too. Like any good relationship.

I, a woman with Cerebral Palsy and associated startle reflex, just opened a bottle of prosecco. By myself. Inspirational. To celebrate my triumph over adversity, I shall drink the entire bottle. Cheers. 🥂

@WorldIn_MyWords It's It's shocking and frustrating that a service specifically for disabeld individuals does not seem to understand disabled individuals. We have lives. We cannot live our lives if our equipment is broken. I was left without a wheelchair handle for 6 months last year. 🤬

Just pointed out the flaw to the disability equipment service in my area as no one contact me to tell me things were being collected & delivered today When I told them I’m not home 24/7 & they shouldn’t assume they said that they’ll always come back whilst laughing at me!!!! 😡

Will anybody else be watching? Gina has already requested we watch it tomorrow night. 😅

This is footage of the lady reacting to the state of her chair that I retweeted about yesterday. Its unacceptable that people see it as an accessory. As she says "this is my lifeline". It's like breaking someone's legs and expecting them to just carry on. @bbcouch @Delta
