I really wonder where these figures actually come from because illegal immigrants operate illegal businesses, not registered in South Africa to be aware of their existence. They are not bringing and taking funds in and out of the country through the Reserve Bank. They are not registered with SARS. We are taken for fools here. My own personal lived experience is that illegal imigrants are a huge liability to South Africa. They rob poor South Africans, majority black, the opportunities in their country. Any one of them in the country must be deported with immediate effect. Foreign currency brought into our country through Sofas is not welcome.

Before misleading the public, tell the full truth. Our immigration laws exist for a reason and must be enforced without fear or favour. There are foreign nationals operating businesses and working in South Africa without the required legal documentation or permits. Those who are in violation of our laws must be held accountable through the proper legal processes. No sovereign nation can allow illegal activities to continue unchecked. Illegal immigration places additional pressure on public services, infrastructure, employment opportunities, and law enforcement. Protecting the rule of law is not xenophobia, it is a fundamental responsibility of the state not March and March.
