@Nacked27 @QuNat389282 @bronzeagemantis Your sentiment belies the problem with modern Catholicism, which mirrors modern notions of inclusivity. I grew up culturally Catholic as part of a 1000 year legacy of Catholicism from my ancestors, but somehow converts are more Catholic than me.

Having spent maybe 20 yrs on forums and on weird internet etc one of consistent signs of mental illness is conversion to Orthodox Christianity. Only exception is like family men in 40s who are Anglican but want a church for their kids, facing a practical problem.

@QuNat389282 @bronzeagemantis Even though I am non-practicing, I feel the same way towards Catholic converts. Like they will never be Catholic the way I am Catholic because I actually grew up in it, and it is part of my heritage.
