@Dr2NisreenAlwan So basically he’s saying there isn’t an RCT so it doesn’t exist. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Shocking statement contrary to the evidence. It’s very important to clarify who he exactly means when he says “we think” -is this the collective JCVI position on #LongCovid?

@matthaig1 They can safely say it in the knowledge that the people angered by it don’t read books.

Genuinely confused by the amount of grief Waterstones is getting for simply saying what many other businesses are saying. That they encourage customers to wear masks. I genuinely feel people just want to be angry about things at the moment.

@atticrahman Not at all clear actually. What exactly is the link between Marxism and taking the knee? While you’re at it, I’d be curious to hear you explain Marxism.

Taking the Knee: Do I support the England players (or indeed British MP’s) taking the knee? No, because it’s Marxist gesture. Am I entitled to that view. Yes. Does that make me a racist? No. Did I support the team playing football trying to win. Yes. Hope that’s clear.

@dgurdasani1 @SkyNews Well done. She clearly didn’t understand the issue well enough to ask intelligent questions or meaningfully engage in the discussion.

What is going on with some of our media? R Rather than holding government to account, they seem to be pushing every single false dichotomy created by govt. Without even the most basic scrutiny. Heated interview on @SkyNews today at around 6:35 am or so. news.sky.com/story/watch-sk…

@Headhuntersnow @Coliboo @ChrisCEOHopson I think it’s pretty obvious that you’re the one with either political or ideological motives. Nobody could seriously be that obtuse otherwise.

1/27 Lots of current focus on interaction between increasing levels of COVID-19 cases and NHS, in the context of relaxing restrictions on 19 July. New thread follows. Key questions to answer: what's the likely impact on NHS, can it cope and what does this mean for 19 July?

On being invited to @GMB panel tomorrow, I have said I will not be able to do this, unless there is a public apology to @SusanMichie. Instigating pile ons on scientists who are already being targeted daily is unacceptable. I hope other scientists will also boycott in solidarity🧵

RT if you support the ‘foreigners’ who are an integral part of the NHS workforce, caring for our country and making homes in the UK. We value you 💙

@UK_Centrist Yes. He’s parroting what numerous experts have been saying for ages and is trying to distance himself from the government’s catastrophic mishandling of the pandemic. Which he played a crucial part in. He’s only interested in saving his own ass.

@Dr2NisreenAlwan They inspire by being kind and encouraging others to do well. Genuine humility. Motivated by desire to well and to do good in the world, not by ego, greed etc. Not afraid to call out crap.

Good morning ☀️ Can I ask you something? Pls tell me how an ideal leader behaves or what they do so well in your opinion. Have someone in your mind who you think is an inspiring leader. Tell me what makes them so. Don’t tell me who it is, just the qualities/behaviour your admire.

It’s refreshing to see a leader not shying away from talking about putting precautions in to protect children from covid in the face of uncertainty. It’s very sad and frankly shocking that this attitude is not mainstream in many countries.
