@forestm555 Honestly? It might take WWE a lot longer to "fail" but their situation is almost as precarious as AEW's. The big ripple effect of VKM getting ousted is that now WWE isn't a "family business" but just an asset on a cold balance sheet. They probably will be resold again before long

Honestly? I bet much of the old, retired slop TNA put out in the late 2000's and 2010's severely damaged the perception of any non-WWE promotions in the eyes of a lot of wrestling fans. Now anything outside of the WWE sphere is permanently seen as minor league to these people.

There’s a lot of long time vets that have seen the company around them morph, not loved what it’s become, and have actively questioned their place in the new landscape. There are wrestlers there that’d always seen themselves as lifers now coming to grips with the reality that that’s no longer likely, and are gearing up for the next step as it continues to become more and more plainly clear that WWE is no longer a wrestling company, for the wrestlers, for the boys.
