A Windhoek mother is requesting the public’s assistance in finding her missing daughter, Nangula Dortea Kashamba (15).
The case was confirmed this morning by |Khomas police spokesperson Senior Inspector Silas Shipandeni. Kashamba allegedly went missing after disappearing from her home in Windhoek’s Otjomuise at around 20h00 on 21 May.
She was last seen by her mother wearing her pyjamas. “I can confirm that she was reported missing at the Otjomuise police station on 23 May,” Shipandeni said.
According to the mother, Kresting Ndakukamo, she had returned from work and gone to sleep around the time her daughter disappeared.
“I called most of her friends, but nobody knows about her whereabouts. They say they have not seen her. I am worried about where she is,” she said.

Today I learned that if you buy a brand new car from the dealership make sure they do what is called a PDI. Basically if the dealership received that brand new car on Jan 1, the warranty on that car starts the same day. If you buy it in June you already lost 5 months of warranty

If we’re being quite honest, having kids has limited so many women in so many ways. Be it socially or career wise. There’s always something you can’t just do especially when you have a small child. And not everyone gets to have a support system unfortunately.

Even during interviews they ask “do you have a child” and if you do chances are that you won’t get that job. I use to work for a company that only hires childless people. 👀

Everybody knows an artisan can build a bridge miles better than an engineer.But an engineer says if I build you this bridge it will last 10 years or I will never work in this country again. An artisan can’t make the same promise because they don’t know how not to build a bridge.

The debate about artisans and engineers is more about risk. the more risk you take away the more money you get paid. A nurse and doctor do the same thing but a doctor is right 90% of the time while a nurse is right 75% so they get the big bucks.
