@Admiredplague Are Affiliates that upset? My only point of concern was that they can't withdraw their revenue but still have to pay taxes on the income. I think a lot of people are going to be blindsided because Twitch isn't entirely transparent about the nuance of this rollout.

Crazy to see the affiliates who told partners to shut up about the barrier to entry get lowered for partner benefits now seeing this happen and lose their minds. Personally the whole system needs to be reworked and be more like YouTube. Said this when affiliate status was announced how it should be a tiered system with more and more perks unlocked as you go.

@NeoJudai @zMetra_ Good choice. I had banned DR from FFT6ix after about a month. Be forewarned, that player base will do anything it can to skirt the rules with alt accounts though.

Announcement regarding changes to my Motivation Academy SF6 NA brackets - Moving foward starting with the teams tournament on Thursday and beyond, anyone who is located in the Dominican Republic area will no longer be allowed to enter the tournaments Unfortunately DR is a far enough distance away that it does not provide tournament standard connections with the rest of NA and it ruins the tournament experience for others that join the tournaments It is also bothersome that bad connections in the tournament cause friction among the players and the community and I don’t condone any bad behavior within my community/tournaments The health of my tournaments/community was put in mind when making this choice This decision was made solely by me, so if anyone has any issues with it or any questions, they can come to me or ask me about them I hope everyone will continue to support Motivation Academy

I see pocket watching is still a thing in the FGC. Run an event yourself and see how quickly you realize how ridiculous you sound. A guy ran an event out of his home @ $10 a pop for 20 people. $200 in hand. I guarantee you the organizer lost money when it was all said and done.

.@TwitchSupport, is there any update on the broken watch streaks? I literally just watched a 40 streak reset to 1 while literally in the stream and chatting. This has been going on for about a week, and I haven't seen any statement addressing this rapidly growing problem.
